I really really hate to say it, but I get the feeling Thunder fans are gonna have to come to terms with the fact Jokic is likely going to win. I don’t think he should, and it’s really annoying he is having this kind of year when in 90% of seasons, Shai is easily taking it home. But the national dialog seems to really want Jokic to win. He is the media darling, and his stats are insane enough to justify voting for him, regardless of what Shai or anyone else is doing. Really hope I’m wrong, but it just feels nearly everyone outside of OKC wants Jokic to get it again.

Has Jokic had to cover for missing starts by important players to the degree that Shai has had to? For Shai to be leading the league's youngest team with the team missing so many starts by our centers while compiling the leagues best or near best record suggests to me that he is the most valuable player.

I appreciate the MVP on the last discussion, but the NBA is struggling and I believe that the “tired of voting for someone” hurt the league. Jordan, and Lebron deserved it way more than they received it and all hoop fans know it so why not just actually give it to the deserving player which is Jokic. SGA is insane but he isn’t making history and Jokic is.

The problem with overly excitable Wolves and Thunder fans, is that they think their star is superior to Luka. Luka has dispatched a far superior and #1 seed than your teams with a much weaker roster. Go see what Luka made the Suns become. What Luka turned the Jazz into. What the Wolves turned into after Luka punked Rudy AGAIN. I understand you want to glaze SGA. That 22 pt win in game #1 of that series is a good explanation for why both teams ended up with the same point differential. Outside of that 1st game it felt like the mavs were in control of that series for the most part.
