THUNDER UP!! ⛈️ The only 3 teams I wanna see for an exciting western conference finals- OKC vs DAL/HOU/MEM. And- these teams are young and super competitive.
Honestly wouldn’t overthink the loss to the mavs. We where short 3 of our top 4 options, while they where only short Luka as their top option (ik they where short livly but not sure he’s a top option) I think with the addition of IHeart and Caruso, and us getting Chet back for post season I don’t think Dallas is as big of a threat as last season
@@TexanByNature88 I think it's a sweep. IHART and CHET brings a whole new level of dominance to OKC game. Magic was still contending at a high level despite missing top guy after top guy. I don't see that from the Mavs. Even with Kyrie they are still struggling against weak teams. The problem with OKC is that Shai can handle a double and triple team. His offense is so disruptive that him running into the paint alone collapses most of the defense. He significantly opens up his teammates and has the option to score or kick it out. After that you only need someone to grab the rebound. Once the turnovers start coming and the bottom falls out that momentum shift alone will demoralize Mavs. I see them getting swept.
@ I’m going to wait on that until both teams are fully healthy. OKC beat the Mavs in the in tournament without Chet and the Mavs were fully healthy but I do see what you are saying.
Its mid January, we lost Chet for most of season. Caruso & IHart have missed close to half their games. All sorts of nagging injuries. Still we sit here weeks before the All Star break, and we're already talking playoff matchups because of how big our lead is in the so-called loaded Western Conf.

I'm an OKC fan but I agree with you. The 1st game point differential blowout hid the fact the mavs outplayed them the next 5 games. That said, both teams fully healthy the Thunder are the better team. OKC in 5 or 6 this year.
Mavs have no POA defenders and you won’t be able to pack the paint or keep a Big on a non shooter like Giddey. Brain dead Mavs fans are gonna get a wake up call 😂
