Jess, you have some seriously mad skills with the Dremel tool! You did a very nice job on cleaning out the interior "fittings" of the cab to make room for the new frame. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to Part 2. Take care.
Very pleased to see you wearing stylish safety glasses! It's looking pretty good so far too. If you can do this, maybe I should be getting back on my attempt at chopping a top
Just subbed. I love monster truck racing. I saw a post about this channel on Facebook. I'm actually get ready to start a Camaro mega mud machine. Mostly scratch building. I'm currently working on a street machine for the Blue Ox group build
Very cool. I just attended my first monster Jam in April for my birthday. Unfortunately I shelved this build for now because the two kits I used were not the same scale. Major rookie move I know 😅 it’s my first attempt at fab work. The Camaro is gonna be awesome. I’ll sub back so I can check it out!
Sanding off the side trim is a good idea…it probably wouldn’t be on a full size one. Just gotta be careful of using hot paints on it…deleted trim can look gone even under primer, but can ghost up during color and clear coats. Its bit me a few times. I keep a roll of quarters for the swear jar every time I sand something off a body.

Lol I have yet to have that happen. Thanks for sharing though. It’s good to know. I may need a swear jar. Just gotta find one big enough first! 😂

MONSTAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!
👌
was the cab made from leftover sprue or was it made from plastic rod?
How do you mean? The frame is from a dodge lindberg kit and the cab is from a chevy amt kit :D
@@scalemodelsnail i knew that. a certain floofy mcfloofface was demanding attention when you were on, so i missed you saying it.
