I gotta compliment you on your clean work area! Mine looks like a grenade went off on it! Man, I hate you dropped the chopper!! Just so you know, you're not alone with that one. I paint in a booth in my garage. I've knocked a freshly pained body onto the concert floor. Had to strip the body and start the paint process over again.
Hahah Thank you and yeah nothing like running a fresh paint job and partially assembled model. Lol I’ll recover though as all great Builders do. Thank you for watching!
Don't sweat the small stuff Jess, you can fix that easily! Shit happens! As far as windows, if you ruin some, I might suggest some sheet PVC, you can get it online or at Hobby lobby cheap, and easily cut it to suit your needs. I've made my own tinted windows for years out of it!!! Move forward young lady!!!
I built this kit a few months ago and it definitely is not a friendly one haha. Heads up on the rotor and how it sits. Mine would not go in and kept trying to lean waaaay to forward. However, you are killing it on this one Jess! No doubt it will turn out amazing.
Hey Thank you so much for the heads up. I honestly thought this would be an easy kit but it has been kind of a pain in the butt every step of the way. I’m not really sure why. I think it’s the directions. They leave out quite a bit and you kind of have to figure it out on your own for some of the steps.
Hello, I am new to the channel and wanted to say Nice video, your work area is so uncluttered and clean, bravo. As for the set back, they happen. We have all experienced them in one form or another. Judging by what I see, I am sure you will recover just fine.
Your not the first to drop a build during painting, it's a learning experience and I'm sure you'll get it fixed and repainted. They always turn out better the second time. 🙂
Sorry to see the cracked nose, my dropped parts usually just result in much cursing and hacking as I try to clean the dirt off before the paint sets. What was your plan for fixing it?
Oh there were some choice words LOL I was going to strip it but luckily the paint wasn’t too wet and not much dirt. Some wet sanding will do the trick. As for the split I filled that with some putty and sanded and re-primed. I’m back on track now :)
Aww bless you, you can do this Jess show that heli who's boss 🤣🤣, great catch up 🤗❤️
Thanks Sue! I can do it!! 💪🐌
Looking good
Thank You!
" Paint the choppa!" Looks great Jess 👍
🤣 Thanks Cory!

Don't worry about it Jess - we have all been there. You will fix it and 'Get 'Er Done' and it will turn out awesome!

You got this.
I'm sure you will get it sorted out Jess
Ouch! That sucks about the chopper. It's looking really good though! You'll get it fixed!👍

Lol they sure do. I can’t count how many times I’ve been ready to whip a model at the wall. 🤣
Nice work Jess, sorry about the split :( Maybe fill it in with Milliput and sand it smooth?
