Model building is all about planning and problem solving; even when you are working with a kit that has (presumably) been pre-engineered and test fitted to make clear and precise instructions. But since mistakes do happen, it's always advisable to "dry-fit" parts to ensure they will fit before assembly. But you seem to be 'counterpunching' well when problems arise, and your project is looking very good! Have fun painting your Munster House. I'm looking forward to seeing this when it's finished! 72nd Like.
Great work so far, nice catch on the instructions. Excellent idea on the resin for light blocking. If you are keeping that color for the roof if you have a flat coat hit it with that and you should be good to go :)
That going to look good. plastic should all be the same, so it was the change in temp and moistier in the shed. Dose makes an interesting problem to resolve.
For an HO Scale house, that's pretty HUGE. I think that, if I were to build it, I would assemble the walls on the base, but only cement the walls together and paint sub assemblies. Most of the HO and N scale structures that I've built have been fairly simple (four walls). Still, it's looking sharp, Ms. Snail.
The house is coming along great. Nice solution to your window installation opportunity! I started using white glue to mock all my builds a couple of years ago. Just something to consider for next time. I would reshoot the roof sections. Worst case is that there will be no change....or could you spray a dull clear over them.
Looking great so far Jess!!! I did mine a few years back. As Halloween is coming soon (Woohoo!) , I'll do some video of my Halloween models I put out this time of year, then you can see mine! Keep up the great work!
That resin idea is definitely a good one. Never thought of that myself. I use hot glue and do a similar thing along the seams and then paint it flat black as well to keep the light in. How will you be lighting this one up??......I'll be looking forward to that one!!!!! 👻👻👻👻
👀looks like this kit got you on the ropes jess 🐌,but one is sure y'all gonna land the K O to it 👍👍. Ain't got a Scooby as to what happened to the roof tiles but as stated earlier one is sure you will best it 👍👍. Nice cat 🐱👍👍🍸🍸.
Jess, No idea about the shiny roof tiles - sounds very odd to me. On dry-fitting the walls, would liberal use of Tamiya or Mr. Hobby masking tape have helped to hold enough things together, for long enough, to get everything fit? I'm not sure if this idea has any merit at all for solving the problem of installing the window inserts post-priming. Finally, you may wish to include more Zelda in some of your videos - a very nice touch to include her in this one.
Cool update. Looks good.👍
Looking good Jess 👍🏼 looking forward to the next update
Looking good. Thanks for the update.

Crazy, but fun looking kit! Cute kitty cat too!😊👍
Thank you 🤗
Nice progress on the Munster crib. Have a great weekend. 🌲
Thanks, you too! 🐌
Hey Jess. The house is looking great.
Nice job on the house so far, I watched the show on tv many ages ago.
It’s a great show. I used to watch it with my dad when I was little.

Thanks for watching Kenny. I’m gonna try and give it a second coat and let it dry in the house. If that doesn’t work I’ll hit it with a flat coat
Nice progress. Thanks for the tips, can't wait to see the finished build.
You bet. Thanks for watching:)

Wow, Jess that's a lot to unpack on this build. I'm sure you'll get it done. I'll be watching.
Yeah 😅 Thanks for watching Larry.

That’s exactly how I should’ve done it. I was having so much fun I went on auto pilot haha Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the tips. It was at this kit I realized I don’t have any proper mock up material 😂

Thanks Tim! Oh I would love to see yours. I’m sure you knocked it out of the park. You do a good job painting that aesthetic.
I've never seen this kit before? Mom...Me Mom!!!! Never had primer dry shiny??? Nothing dull coat can't fix. I'll be watching
Nice work 🐌
Thanks Shellard ☺️
I’ve had this kit for a long time…I love the subject matter, so I REALLY need to get it out and work on it.
Thanks for the info Jess!
This is your sign to build it! Now you know what NOT to do hahah

I thought about using hot glue but I was worried it wouldn’t work. I will definitely use hot glue in the future. Thanks for watching Harry! 👻
Lady Snail,
Problems aplenty to overcome I note. You seem to be prevailing though!
Keep plodding along…
Kind regards,
Z
I like it in black so I know whatever you do further will be awesome! It looks like a fun kit! Can’t wait to see it lit up!
Nice work young lady

Yea this kit has certainly been a doozy right from the jump for me. Here I was thinking this would be an easy kit 😂 Thanks for watching
Great overcoming issues with the kit. It was the best (you are)
It's weird how the roof is so shiny.
Very curious
I fixed the shiny problem!! Turns out the can was low on paint 🥴🤣 Thanks for watching my videos and leaving a comment. You’re the best at that!
HI Jess that's the same primer I use, good stuff, Munsters house is lookin good,, kutgw,,later Glen

Hahah yeah she’s a little star. Yes, having some proper mock up solution would have really helped me with this one. Thanks for watching Tron. 🐌
Looking good !!
Can I send you some snail mail?
Absolutely. Just shoot me an email for address info ☺️ goheenjm@gmail
Jess?? Helloo?? Are you still there? I know snails are slow, but this is ridiculous
😂 I’m here I’m here. I’ve just had a lot come up. The Halloween build is still in the works. Fret not my dear friend.
