Agaricus arvensis - champiñón bola de nieve - Horse Mushroom
Un champiñón de gran tamaño conocido como bola de nieve, buen comestible, sobre todo los ejemplares jóvenes, con superficie lisa que al roce amarillea y con un olor anisado impresionante, crece tanto en primavera como en otoño. No confundirlo con amanitas blancas de láminas blancas y volva.

Agaricus arvensis Schaff ex Fr
Descripción:
-Sombrero: Sombrero grande, hasta 24 cm, al principio globoso o cónico o troncocónico, después convexo, y al final convexo aplanado.
-La cutícula: Separable, gruesa, lisa o con pequeñas escamas o fibrillas, de color blanco o ligeramente amarillento, al roce amarillea
-Láminas: apretadas, libres, de color blanquecino que va cambiando al blanco rosado, después gris lilacino y marrón oscuro en la madurez
- Pie: Cilíndrico, grueso, engrosado en la base, corto de joven y largo después, de color blanco en la parte superior y con tendencia a amarillear en la parte inferior. Posee un amplio anillo en la parte superior con dos caras, la inferior con forma de rueda dentada
- Carne: Compacta, firme, de color blanco, olor anisado, y sabor muy agradable como almendra o nuez
- Comestibilidad: Muy buen comestible
-Hábitat: Prados, pastizales, claros de bosque
-Época: En primavera y otoño principalmente

Description:
-Hat: Large hat, up to 24 cm, at first globose or conical or truncated conical, later convex, and at the end convex flattened.
-The cuticle: Separable, thick, smooth or with small scales or fibrils, white or slightly yellowish in color, yellowing when rubbed.
-Lams: tight, free, whitish in color that changes to pinkish white, then lilac gray and dark brown at maturity
- Foot: Cylindrical, thick, thickened at the base, short when young and long later, white on the top and with a tendency to yellow at the bottom. It has a wide ring at the top with two faces, the bottom shaped like a toothed wheel.

I'm delighted and think it's very, very wonderful that your channel is so well received!!!!!♥👏👏👏👏👍👍👍 This video here has turned out fantastic again and you've chosen some fantastic music to go with it (I love it!) ! I also love this mushroom very much, although it has recently been described as only conditionally edible because it absorbs a lot of caesium - allegedly. I still collect them in moderation because I love their flavour and they are also wonderful to dry. I then add it to my mixed mushrooms as a winter supply! - The specimens you show us here are fantastic! Thick, fat and firm mushrooms - just as they should be.... - It's also marvellous that you show us many related specimens that can be found here and there. I particularly love the Agaricus langei and the Agaricus silvaticus - they have a fantastic flavour and can hardly be mistaken for a poisonous counterpart. But unfortunately they have become very rare in our coniferous forests and only there they grow. Thanks again for your excellent video, dear Manu! I hope I can go into the forest again next week - I haven't been for almost 4 weeks. This weekend I'm travelling to the festival in Bregenz (Austria) to see the opera ‘Der Wildschütz’ by C. M.
