- Un hongo muy raro que me alegró el día al verlo en el entorno del Bolintxu, con forma de abanico, formando grupos en troncos muertos principalmente de caducifolios, superficie afelpada de color blanquecino, cubierta por bandas concéntricas. En su superficie fértil podemos observar que tiene aguijones, su carne es coriácea no comestible

Descripción:
- Cuerpo fructífero: hasta 5 cm de ancho. Tiene forma semicircular o abanico. Forma pequeños grupos a lo largo de troncos en descomposición
La superficie es pilosa o afelpada y presenta bandas concéntricas muy visibles de color blanquecino. El margen un poco curvado
La parte inferior es la fértil de tipo hydnoide presenta aguijones de hasta 2,5 mm de longitud de sección circular o un poco aplanada y de color rosa salmón
-Pie: No tiene
-Carne: Coriácea, rosada, sin olor ni sabor destacables.
-Comestibilidad: No comestible
-Hábitat: Principalmente crecen sobre troncos de caducifolios muertos
-Época: Pueden crecer durante todo el año si las condiciones lo permiten, pero su ciclo principal es en otoño. Permanecen durante muchos meses.
-Lugar: Bilbao, País Vasco
- Confusiones: con Steccherinum ochraceum que crece de forma resupinada

A very rare mushroom that made my day when I saw it around Bolintxu. A fan-shaped fungus, forming groups on dead trunks mainly of deciduous trees, whitish plush surface, covered by concentric bands. On its fertile surface we can see that it has spines, its flesh is leathery and inedible.
Description:
- Fruiting body: up to 5 cm wide. It has a semicircular or fan shape. Forms small groups along decaying trunks
The surface is hairy or plush and has very visible concentric bands of whitish color. The margin a little curved
The lower part is the fertile hydnoid type, with stingers up to 2.5 mm long, circular or slightly flattened in section, and salmon pink in color
-Stem: Does not have
-Flesh: Leathery, pink, without notable odor or flavor
-Edibility: Not edible
-Habitat: Mainly grow on dead deciduous trunks
-Season: They can grow throughout the year if conditions allow, but their main cycle is in autumn. They remain for many months.
-Place: Bilbao, Basque Country

Siempre me ha surgido esta duda: ¿Cómo es posible que se puedan distinguir tanta variedad de hongos? O eres una enciclopedia del maravilloso mundo de la micología 😜, o lleváis algún tipo de cuaderno de campo que os ayude. Si me lo pudieras aclarar, te lo agradezco y si se trata del segundo caso, también agradecería que me aconsejes esos cuadernos, guías, etc de campo, a ver si así puedo ir distinguiendo yo también alguna.

Buenos días Jesús, lo primero es agradecerte que hayas visto el video y hayas dejado este interesante comentario.
No es fácil responder a tu pregunta con cuatro líneas. En este mundo hay que ir poco a poco en función de lo que quieras aprender, Aquí tuve la suerte de hacerme socio de una sociedad micológica donde he aprendido muchísimas cosas y por otra mano me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer a muchos micçologos que nos resuelven los problemas de identificación. Yo empecé tarde en esta materia, pero aún asi, llevo unos 22 años aprendiendo cosas todos los días, y me doy cuenta de lo poco que conozco.
Cuando encuentro una seta que no conozco, lo primero que intento es buscar la familia y género al que pertenece, me gusta hacerle la micro y dspués consultar con mis colegas para ver si alguno la conoce, y la verdad que en la mayoría de los casos damos con la identificación. Aun así hay casos que no es posible, por ejemplo este año he encotrado dos especies a las que les hemos hecho la secuenciación del ADN para ver que eran.
Hay setas muy comunes que las conocemos bien, aquí con una simple guía ya sería sufienciente, pero ha medida que nos vamos metiendo en matería yo recomiento una gran guia que utilizamos se llama Guía de campo de los hongos de España y de Europa de Mrcel Bon o Guia de los hongos de la peninsula IbCourteuisse, R. el precio ronda los 50 € y aquí podemos ver la mayoria de las especies que podemos ver. Tambien hay una guía que está bien para los que empiezan y es muy barata unos 15 € Setas de España y Europa Tapa blanda de Laux Hans E. (Autor),
