Descripción:
-Carpóforo lo podemos observar en forma de abanico o concha, con bandas concéntricas de distintos colores, cubiertas de pelos blancos muy parecidos a los trametes versicolor, puede alcanzar los 10 cm de proyección, estos ejemplares suelen estar unidos unos a otros, cubriendo una gran superficie, pero también los podemos encontrar en la parte inferior de los troncos mostrando solo la parte fértil gelatinosa y con pliegues importantes como si se tratase de la Auricularia auricula-judae u oreja de judas. La superficie tiene un espesor de 2 a 5 mm.
- Carne: De textura gelatinosa, delgada y elástica, de olor inapreciable y sabor suave agradable con humedad y fina y dura en épocas secas
- Pie: No tiene
- Comestibilidad: Comestible mediocre, pero muy apreciada en Asia
- Hábitat: Crece sobre trocos y ramas muertas principalmente de caducifolios, en lugares con mucha humedad, pueden crecen ejemplares sobre otros ejemplares anteriores.
- Época: La podemos encontrar en cualquier época del año, excepto en los meses calurosos.
- Lugar: Muy común en nuestros bosques

I already watched your video yesterday evening! I'm delighted to see a mushroom here that I've also seen here from time to time in a riparian forest. And you show it here in fantastic shots with great explanations. - It's very wet in the woods here at the moment, so it's ‘high time’ for all kinds of tree fungi. I saw a lot of huge ones yesterday in the Schönbuch. I can't identify one of them and will show it in my next video. I sincerely wish you and your loved ones a lovely, relaxing weekend. Many mushrooms grow on dead wood. This is always fascinating to me. The tree is no longer alive and yet a lot of life is created in and around it.

From the top it looks very similar to the Trametes versicolor (turkey tail) mushroom, but when you see the gelatinous lower surface it is really this mushroom

- Vlees: met een gelatineuze textuur, dun en elastisch, met een verwaarloosbare geur en een milde, aangename smaak met vocht, en dun en hard in droge tijden.
