- Una especie caracterizada por su sombrero de color naranja crece en prados y en claros de bosque, es comestible y suele nacer de mediados de otoño y principio de invierno.

Descripción:
-Sombrero: puede llegar a los 10 cm de diámetro, de joven tiene forma convexa, después plano convexa para acabar extendido presentando en ocasiones un ligero mamelón central . Margen un poco incurvado de joven y después liso
-Cutícula: lisa, mate de color naranja o albaricoque y en ocasiones un poco más pálido como a crema naranja
-Láminas: Espaciadas, gruesas, decurrentes, de color naranja crema
-Pie: cilíndrico, fibrilloso, robusto, adelgazado hacia la base, de color crema naranja
-Carne: Fibrillosa, de color crema claro, sin olor ni sabor especial
-Comestibilidad: Comestible
-Hábitat: Crece en prados y claros del bosque, en este caso en encinares
-Época: Otoño y principios de invierno, en este caso en enero
Confusiones con el Hygrophorus nemoreus con fibrillas radiales en el sombrero y crece en bosques principalmente de frondosas y no crece en prados

-Flesh: Fibrillous, light cream color, without special smell or flavor
-Edibility: Edible
-Habitat: It grows in meadows and forest clearings, in this case in oak forests
-Season: Autumn and early winter, in this case in January
-Confusions with Hygrophorus nemoreus with radial fibrils on the cap and grows in mainly hardwood forests and does not grow in meadows
