      Ya it was rough and heard from others this is worst they seen for being dry. It is a 116 lane alley biggest in the world. The lanes are on the 2nd story. And there are 2 flights of stairs but the escalator came up around lane 105 and 2 elevators at lane 80. Going to the other end of the house was fun. Have to get there an hour early to start dragging the bags. After picking them up from the warehouse next door(indoor soccer park).

      True. I do spare practice all the time and some nights I’m actually decent. I have high goals and getting upset I can’t hit them. So incorporating new system to practice. Still work spares but play 30 frames clean and can’t go home till done. Help the mindset a bit and not stress just do the cleanup. My form is getting better and noticing I have a different throw for spares. Need to fix that asap. As Sean Rash told me “slow down”. I’m not trying to kill pins but going to start taking the 75% throw to get better accuracy. Trying too hard I guess.

    @EviLNox8 4 дні тому

    Another very difficult pattern. I'm a new bowler and I can't hit 150s on a house shot yet lol. That would frustrate me bad. I've been bowling close to 3 months, once a week but 3 weeks ago i had to switch arms because of an elbow injury. I'm only averaging like 93 on a house shot right now. Every bad game you throw, i envy.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 4 дні тому

      It’s all good…we all started there and we get better and learn as the time goes on. Yes some nights can be frustrating and just got to push through. Game 3 good example everything was working. Sounds like u did the Darren Tang where u kept bowling but avoided further injuring injury. You doing two handed. That’s what I would do. If I did one handed probably hit my own leg or ankle lol.

    • @EviLNox8
      @EviLNox8 4 дні тому

      @TillysAdventures I Was up to 141 average as a 1h righty and the game before my injury, i bowled a 185. So turning lefty was difficult. I tried 1h lefty but i could barely bowl 50. I tried 2h lefty and was immediately way better so I've been doing that. I think my high game 2h lefty was 134. I've hit the 120s a few times but I've been bowling like a 70, a 125 then like a 90 for the past two weeks. I know this is just house shot and you're on a sports patterns so not only are you way higher average, you're doing it on hard patterns where mine is just a layup.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 4 дні тому

      @@EviLNox8 that’s still pretty good for a new bowler. Sucks u had to switch. But sounds like the lefty is getting better. Same thing happened to a pro here where he bowled lefty for a bit. His right elbow got hurt too. I saw his pain where he just took the next few weeks till his arm was ready again with lots of tape. Shooting 50-100 after shooting ur consistent side. 🥲. Don’t take the sports patterns to seriously. It just another patterns and they are built to be tough for those guys who avg 240-250 on house. Some tournaments have low scores. When u get healed up. Try seeing if local alley or tourny nearby has a challenge or sport pattern. When u get doubles it feels so rewarding. Just little things feel good. And don’t stress to much we have fun and learn for the next session. As you can tell from me bad nights happen. And others things go your way.🤙

    my humble comment (besides single pins), find equipment that allows you to play inside the ball return on the right lane. your mechanics don't seem to allow for that playabliity (I am a big tall guy and can't play there AT ALL) that older straighter player was tailor made for this shot...

Pretty much too much in swing. Still mastering the improvements I have made and trying different surfaces and balls for next time I come out on this pattern. Just a fact the lanes were broken done better and now carry down from the open bowlers. Still need to learn a bit more about it before I probably put in tournament bag. We will see what Sport League cooks up and if that ball would be in play. The new set-up is a lot more freeing, and I don't start as tense. Didn't have as many misses, only one out and three in. If you watch in 0.25x speed, and look at your slide foot frame-by-frame, it's sliding toward your intended board (about 38) until your trail leg starts to kick over. Once that happens, you'll notice that your foot actually slides right almost two boards right. This is because of how fast and far your trail leg sweeps during your downswing. And, since your trail leg is opening your hips (because you slide on your big toe like me), and your slide foot went to the right, the swing arm goes to the left. Inversely, should your slide foot have landed left of target, your swing would have missed right. A similar story happened at 11:04, but while it wasn't a miss, your slide foot stayed firm. However, while the ball was rolling off your fingers, your trail leg kept opening up your hips, and dragged the ball right of target. I have a lot of these same problems personally. And, because my trail leg drags on my big toe, my hips open with it past a certain point. So, if I had to offer some help on what to work on while practicing spares, and also normal shots, it would be to keep your trail leg from dragging your hips open until the ball is completely off your fingers. I feel like your ball motion is always pretty good at the start, but once the lanes start to get torched, your hips keep causing you to miss right the more you speed up. So, your ball gets to the friction too early, and winds up going through the face quite a bit. Early rights also cause a ton of flat-tens, which seems to be a majority of your ten-pin leaves. Very rarely do I see a 4-pin or wrap-ten come out in your videos while I've watched it has felt like.

      Interesting and I like it. But what I am going to working on currently is going to be timing. If my leg is sweeping to late or early. Also to save my shoes from dragging on lane pick up my back foot a bit. Also noticing by slowing it down from your tip. My lower stride is HUGE. Causing my hips to open up easier. If I shorten that stride a bit. It won’t be like I’m doing a squat lunge reducing my sway from balance leg. Got some practice tonight so going to test it out. Thanks for the tips.

      @MilkJugg24 8 днів тому

      @TillysAdventures No problem, and yea, your leg has always kind of swept pretty far. And, I think most of the time it's not a problem becuase of how straight your angles are. As soon as things start to slow down and open up, I think the leg has just a little too much time to affect your swing path. So, while timing is something that can help, the *distance* your swing leg travels is independent of your timing, whereas the time it *starts* to move is not. I would probably keep that in mind while you work on your timing.

      @ practice done and was cool cause got to meet Sean Rash, Stephanie Zavala, and Danielle McEwan. Quick coaching followed by no tap pro-am. Learned a few things and shortened my steps and tweaked initial stance. Hitting marks even easier. No balls went out but couple shots that stayed in, due to my release, not arm. Spares felt great too. Was hitting where I wanted. No left or right. It was awesome now waiting for coach to review the new throw. In the No-tap 3 game set didn’t hit my goal of 800 but 773. Excited for the house league tomorrow and how it affects my score in the sport league. Especially this weekend playing on the US Open #1 39 feet flat.

      @@TillysAdventures I think getting a 773, even in a no-tap event is pretty good, lol. And, that's a pretty incredible set of people to stumble across. Danielle specifically has spent some time with my coach, Mark Baker, and is in one of his instructional videos. So, I'd scratch out my advice and just go with theirs any day.

      YES...it is full of a bunch of hooligans😂. Very fun and laid back not to serious but they do get on me when I start missing. "I thought you were a professional". It can be distracting and luckily, I had my notes because I was forgetting where I was standing at times. And as soon I get to the approach it's game on, especially near the end. Pressure practice. I have lots of fun with the guys. Some just want to bowl and hit average, to keep mind off everything else. While others do want to improve. It's nice not being so competitive sometimes.

    The BW Night Breaker will definitely be a step down from the Envy Tour, as it has the pearl cover as the Hazmat (actually first used on the Hammer Scandal Pearl), and that's even with it having HK22, but if you keep the ball speed slower, it will definitely make up ground! If you haven't picked up the Effect yet, picking up the Black Widow Nightmare will help, but right now with the Envy Tour (or even the Hammer Effect Tour), you have the perfect tournament ball in your hand. Stick with it, and remember to keep the angles in front of you, as with it being smooth and controllable, you don't want to give away the pocket with the Envy Tour. We here in the US are jealous, because those overseas releases are generally phenomenal, and are hard to get over here, except during the holiday season.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 14 днів тому

      Main reason I got the Night Breaker is that I probably won't get a chance like this again and it was a normal cost of a ball. Not some special limited availability, overpriced ball. I mainly use it for house shot right now and throw it in "sport bag" when I build bag for the pattern of the night. For house shots it above the Mindset in case that ball quicks hooking. I was looking at the Effect and then they dropped the Effect Tour. Oh the choices...lol

    • @athlonen
      @athlonen 14 днів тому

      @@TillysAdventures For the tournament bag, you'll definitely want to look at the Effect Tour. It shapes differently than the Envy Tour but gives you something to step up to when the Envy Tour isn't making it to the pocket. I don't know when it will make it over there (it should be soon, it's a catalog ball, not an OEM release), so you can definitely have a look at it!

      @ I really do want one of the effect series as that core looks gnarly. I usually get my balls through Amazon or BowlerX since it faster than ordering at pro shop. Effect was my plan to replace the black widow ghost. In due time.

Had to wait till vid fully processed processed before I can see them. It was an annoying 24 hours of waiting. I heard you Steven burk, burnt grass, angus, and Chad. And it was a bit slow to start with people showing up late and was getting annoyed that teammates and opponents weren’t at the ready but chill league and still left at decent time. Nothing too serious as a bunch are learning and there to have fun.

      It just feels big to me. The core may be small but the coverstock got to be extremely strong. Since I am able to use other balls playing outside.
