You are right on the spares, they are costly! I went to plastic for while , now I just use whatever I’m throwing at the time! You also had NO breaks! Keep the faith!
I do like the plastic and sometimes I want to save space in bag and bring another ball. Just more trust in no accidental turn with plastic. Staying strong and going to have fun.
Its kinesiology tape. Used for pain relief and support of muscles, tendons, and ligaments. There is so many different ways to apply the tape and can be used for areas like shoulders and knees being common. I used to run a piece from back of hand to back of the forearm. I strengthened my wrist and now I don't need it anymore. The main point I use the tape is for compression and support. The difference with it off is kind of surprising. I use KT Tape.
@@TillysAdventures I'm two months into bowling and I've already had my share of injuries and pain. Most recently a minor elbow dislocation. I'm probably bending my wrist wrong too because of lack of strength and technique. The tape can help in keeping my wrist straight? Maybe I should get some to wrap my elbow too lol.
@@EviLNox8 the tape can help for the elbows but for that application of the wrist. You can use a wrist brace to keep wrist straight. Or start with lighter balls and build ur strength into the ball you prefer. Like one game with heavier house ball then go back to your custom drilled ball. I used to wear a brace as well but I wasn’t able to do the yo yo release. Or adjust my hand. That’s why I don’t wear anymore.
@@TillysAdventures I'm still trying to work on not throwing it 8 feet through the air. It's like instinct to toss it further than I need to. I need lots of practice.
@@EviLNox8 it’s all good it’s a learning process. During practice I would suggest to look at a dot closer to u and get the ball on the lane before the dot. Keep a low follow through. It’s just to help get the ball down quicker. After a game or two try throwing regularly. Idk if u are two handed but tape in thumb and don’t squeeze the ball you want it to roll off ur hand. the part I use to hold ball is bottom of thumb near palm, don’t use the tip of thumb which could be causing the ball to stay on hand longer.
Pfffff yup what to say...... mayby old school but spares are the basis of youre game...... strikes will grow on you.... make a failsafe sparesystem and train every session 30 minutes on spares alone...... soo when you have a diffucult day you can trust youre spares and score at least 180 average.......
True. I don’t really have a fail safe other than going to what I feel most confident in…just sucks I couldn’t even hit what I was aiming for 10 feet in front of me. Couldn’t lock it in🤦♂️ I do have a system and I have got better with spares…except this weekend this was filmed.
I try. It be easier if had a camera man. Not as easy trying to find spots especially if I’m not playing and someone else is recording. I will give him the prime spot. And that’s if there is a table to setup perfectly between the lanes. Any tips on an angle you would go for. I try to be an higher angle looking down directly from behind. So even in slide you can see ball go all the way down. It’s my fav.
@@TillysAdventuresYour answer is exactly what I figured. You're doing it right, just sometimes there's a bad angle that's not really under your control. People already set up or walking around, can't hog up all the prime spots and tell people to move.
🤨 start right. Find gutter (like inside breakpoint 11) and move left throughout day and don’t trap yourself by moving back right. It’s all in a strategy to attack the pattern each day. Some people here just point off the 5 board. No matter the distance. Just trying to find some clarity but how would you go attack each day? Yes sometimes I don’t find a good “gutter” so start in a bad line.

That guy wearing the number 07 jersey has a smooth form
He does and he is working to get his JPBA license right now.
Spares are important kids 😂
What is that tape on your wrist and what does it do?

Cool, but really bad camera angles
