Just wonder in I machined a mount for a t maxx to put a big block in it but the crankshaft hits the transmission can I cut the crank shaft a little bit shorter?

that thinker chassis plate is to the 3.3 version a short wheel base before they gave it the long chassis it has now

You can and use an adapter shaft or you will have to move the engine farther back
