Love your videos. Why does my traxxas jato idle so low and the idle screw is screwed in all the way? could it be low speed needle? thanks for your help.
Probably the idle speed screw is stripped out. Probably common. Id suggests posting it up in the Nitro RC enthusiasts group on Facebook. I'm an admin in their
Hi. One question... in EU, people cant run with 20 or 25 % anymore. And... i cant mess mixing my own fuel. We can only use 16%, but my engines ( 3,5cc, 5,9cc and 6,3cc ) are designed ( as written in the manual) to run with minomum 20%. Now, im cleaning those engine cuz i want to run them again, but how i can use them with only 16% ? Remove shims will work plus a hotter plug ?
You can run 16% no problem it won't do any harm. And if you're engine has more than one head shim say 3 you can remove one or two for higher compression and better performance. It has only one shim don't worry about it just run them. And medium to hot plugs will be fine. Just tune for best performance
@@thebug4046 yea im going to try it at some point i also want to f around with moto cross oil in a old clapped engine just for fun add little bit by little bit and see what happens and if it works
@@tonydetwiler2624 most oils won't mix with methanol they sink to the bottom. No matter how much you shake it. Klotz kl 200 or kl 198 if you want a synthetic
No such thing as a nitro engine they are glow engines witch run on glow fuel just methanol and castor oil. The methanol is what holds the catalytic reaction with the platinum on the coil in the glow plug to keep it running. Nitromethane is added for easier tuning and performance but is not required to run them. 😉

@@thebug4046 thanks a lot, well explained 👍
runs good on it

Its amazing !! How's this working??

you work another peoples nitro?
Yup my buddies i go bashing with i often fix their cars and trucks
Awesome
Thanks man
Not bad, but max rpm so slow
That is better with just the pipe and 30% before that it was a dog
