    Nice video mate - clear and straightforward, good commentary and not hyped or over-energetic. I like the close-ups.
    Comparisons are SO useful - side by side etc. SO many machines in this market, so many facilities and features, nice to hear different machines and different techniques shown and talked through.

    Cracking little set!..Mine is being delivered on Monday. You asked about the jasic in one of my videos, i kept it for a short time but couldn't get along with with it so went back to my Migatronic Flex 330. Ive now bought an Esab Rebel 320 for the workshop and it seems to be doing the trick. :) Just subscribed :)

    Hey mate loved the video
    Do these machines just plug straight into the wall or is there some need for an electrician to come in and install a few bits was thinking of picking this up just not to sure on how to get it going in my garage

    Nice one.great to hear a relaxed northern voice rather than a American lol.
    May be thinking of getting one of these mainly for the mma and the mig .but would like to learn tiggin

      My dad uses these now as brilliant to set up in both modes but the unit was just to big in size for me to keep in my small shed but customer service is again brilliant. If your interested in a parweld one just pop me a mail and will beat anyone in UK for price

    A great video, if I may ask you as it is now 2022 do you still rate Parweld XTM211DI as a good welder to buy, also
    What thickness of steel / SS/alloy will this weld up to?
    Lastly is there a good place to buy this machine from?
    sorry for all the questions.

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  2 роки тому

      Hi No problem as sorry for the delay between videos as full new workshop fully open today again so will post more shortly. Yes I like mine however none of my multiprocess machines feature in my new garage as I mainly tig and can't stand mig so I moved them out. If you message me on insta I will send you details on who I buy from and I know he will beat anyone. Thickness wise just depends on how many passed and which function your probably looking 5 to 6 mm on mig and tig and much thicker on stick .

      If any consolation I had the esab 205acdc 4 in 1 just after Christmas for 3 grand and this parweld was way better bang for buck and better customer service. I mean thick I got mine for around 1350 machine only so 3 year warranty your quids in. Esab 3.5k and again 3 year warranty .

    What torch would you reccomend as a plug and play for the Parweld? I don’t have a cooler so just to plug direct into the 211di? Thanks

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  Рік тому

      I use CK 9 , CK17 or CK 26 depending on your amps . I always use CK but torches don't come with a switch so any switch to your amphenol will work

      @@smallgarageworkshop6119 awesome thank you, I have a foot pedal and don’t really go over 140 amps but I’d rather get something to handle the max of the machine for any future projects

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  Рік тому +1

      @@andrewpirus2159 oh super then I would go with a ck17 . 150 amp the 26 is huge hence why I have a cooler and stick with the smaller torches. Or the latest ck are like a 17 but do what a 17 does without the cooler . WhatsApp me as it gets really complicated.

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  Рік тому +1

      CK 26 TL trimline. The size of a ck17 nut will do the full amps . You won't need another torch

  • @Tuffjobs
    @Tuffjobs 2 роки тому

    Do you need a water cooler? What’s its function?

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  2 роки тому

      Basically at 200 amp your standard torches get too hot so then you need the wp26 which is huge . Cooler enabled smaller torches to be used plus you can use the full amp of your machine without stopping

    How does the Paraweld compare to the Jasic mini tig?

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  2 роки тому

      2 completely different sets but if its tig your looking at then the Jasic as its a cleaner sharper arc on stainless plus the frequency is 250 on the jasic rather than 150 on the parweld . Both great sets though

    • @Tuffjobs
      @Tuffjobs 2 роки тому

      @@smallgarageworkshop6119 thanks, and what about all these Jasic 200 models? What’s the point of the 202 when the 200p mini is half the weight at the same price?

    • @smallgarageworkshop6119
      @smallgarageworkshop6119  2 роки тому

      @@Tuffjobs its all all about the water cooler really as i like the smaller ck20 torch but the size of a wp9. Inside is pretty much the same machine but better air flow a lot better on off switch hence for the machine they are pretty much the same machine. Best sub 2k tig welder to be honest before you step up to the big boys. Used them for maybe 6 years now and never let me down as customer service is also bang on

      @@smallgarageworkshop6119 Where is the frequency listed on the various machine specs and what difference does the frequency have on the welding? I'm now leaning towards the Parweld 211 because it would be good to have the MIG option even though TIG would be my main thing. Thanks again! I run my plasma off a 16amp supply however you can pretty much cut 4mm from a 13amp socket as i did for ages. I upgraded to a 32amp supply but cut this down to 16amp as when my compressor kicks up it used to trip sometimes in the middle of the cut . Hope this helps
