If only mine wasn’t stuck on it’s pedestal with gorilla glue from hell 😭 Thanks for the video. I was afraid I was going to have to take the entire front panel off … looks like I’m still going to have to do that if I can’t lift it off the base 🆘 send help lol

This video perfectly explained the growling sound and OE code if you let it run till it beeps. He advised to install from bottom which worked great if you have someone to help tilt. Really did take only about 20 minutes.

Hello thanks for the video. I was changing out my suspension rods on a very similar Samsung. The pressure hose in the back left hand corner was twisted around the rod. I was careful to twist it around the new rod. The top of the pressure hose is undone and I can’t see where to attach it to? I’m hoping it just sticks out the back and is no big deal? Thanks again

Question...I have my LG sitting on top of an LG Pedestal. Is there a way to access from the bottom without having to take it off the pedestal? Thanks!

Great , easy to follow video. I have a 18 month old LG washer and it was throwing that code. I could hear the pump trying to go, so I followed the instruction on this video, took out the pump, shook it around and out falls a piece of bicycle chain. I stuck my finger in there to see if it spins which it did, re installed and it works fine!!

How do you lean and support the washer? It’s hard to see in the video but it looks like 2 of the washers feet are on some kind of support? My washer is in a tight area, I can lean it but don’t want it sliding and falling. Curious how you supported yours?

Absolutely fantastic video and you saved us a lot $$$. I was told that no one in our area services LG's anymore and the ones that do, were charging a minimum of $150 just for the service call. I got the part (mine was slightly different so only $11) and it worked like a charm!! Thank you so much for this video! You have really helped so many of us!! Double Kudos!!

Your video gave me encouragement, but now I am aware there are mitigating factors that will potentially bring the homeowner far beyond the 7 minutes, to something more like hours. And I never realized that having stacked washer and dryer would present such a problem. My washer and dryer will remain unstacked. It's not a one person job removing a stacked dryer, but I was able to figure out a way to get the dryer down. Why was this a more difficult job? There are significant differences in LG front load washers that aren't shown here. My LG had two pumps. I only found out after having found the service manual online, but the service manual cannot be found at LG's site. Search elsewhere. The drain pump was on the opposite side, and the 3 screws you discussed are not accessible or removable unless you remove the large three 10mm bolts that hold the pumps (yes 2) to the visible metal base plate you show near completion . Two pumps, one on either side for my LG front loader, far left drain pump nearly impossible to access, and on the right an accessible circulation pump. After having removed the 3 bolts holding the plate from behind the front and underneath, then the front, back and two screws underneath attaching the pumps to the metal platform, I was able to remove the pump out of the washer as you had done. Upon installation of new drain pump I also found that the screws that hold on the pump to the black plastic housing don't hold as tightly as when removed, and my initial pump replacement leaked. I added pipe joint compound and 5 (extra holes are there already) ever so slightly larger sheet metal screws that bit into the plastic just a little more. Mine was a bit more difficult, but without your guidance I'd have had to pay the piper. Thank you for sharing your expert instruction and providing all of us with the guidance and courage to undertake these challenges. And I won't need to go to yoga class this week due to all the contortions necessary to remove those large bolts from the metal base from underneath. Thanks for help us all.

Thank you for your clear and concise directions. And the recommendation regards the stubby ratchet and types of bolts. It is so frustrating to not know what size or type of bolt/screw head you may be dealing with. I'm definitely an 'amatuer' DIY repair person. Now off to order the needed parts etc.

$300?..lol.... since it's not a newer front loading washer, a machine of that caliber, you can purchase refurbished for $80 to $150. That Part.

This is absolutely perfect! Getting it from the bottom makes it super easy and fast. Just did it and my washer is working perfectly now!

Hey this might be a weird question, but I replaced the pump and the grey mount and as soon as I turn it on water is everywhere. Could I have mis- matched the two small hoses? Would that do it?

I've already changed the rods. Still banging with little to no clothe in the washer. ?

I replaced the rods, greased them, ran the calibration and this machine still needs to be put in a landfill. I'm so frustrated. I'm so angry that this machine barely lasted 4 years. Any other ideas? BTW the first 2 or 3 loads after the replacement worked great. Samsung is terrible for appliances.

I ordered these rods but now the tub sits too high and I can’t put the top back on. Any ideas on what the problem is? My washer is inoperable now. It’s the exact same model and ordered the same aftermarket rods.

This guys instructions were dead on. I ordered the relacement sensor from Amazon, replaced the old sensor and my LG Washing Machine is spinning like new!

I get a LE error code. But it won’t drain. The motor was very dirty but the motor seemed to be fine, resistance when turning. Ideas?
