So I took all the insides apart, as the filter and what not. Mine drains into the disposal, I can see it drain into the disposal at some point , but at the end of the wash when machine is finished, there is still water filled up to just under the big large screen(the one you need to remove to get to the smaller screen). I did not replace the water pump. Whats your take on this?

You need a high loop pin your drain hose. The drain line needs to go up hill first from the disposal and then down to the machine so the water can not back feed. use this plastic pipe hanger strap to secure the drain hose above the point where it enters the disposal. i provided an amazon link here: amzn.to/4eJH0Qg . just loop the strap under the hose and drive it into some wood on the back side of the under sink cabinet. make sure not to screw into any plumbing or electrical behind the wall.

This was "ok" but you just replaced the pump.
What if it still didn't drain??

Could be a clog. Get a wet vac on the drain hose. Could be control board. Test to see if board sends power to the drain pump at appropriate time in cycle

Good tip with the shopvac. I have broken glass interfering with my drain pump and I think I will try to use the shopvac to pull it out from inside the machine. Can't hurt and might save me some work.

I went through all this just to realize I didn’t remove the punch plug from the new garbage disposal I installed 🙈 … at least I have a brand new pump now I guess

yes, Can you hear the pump trying to pump? you can get a cone attachment on the end of a wet vac aka shop vac. try putting it on the end of the drain hose that exists the back of the machine.
