Thank you for your videos.W 0:40 e are working on fixing our washer and your channel has been a great help. It has been stuck in the spin cycle on some loads. It will try and redistribute the load. I can cancel out then put it on rinse and spin then put it on a spin and drain cycle. But it still seems to be struggling. I feel like shock absorbers are the answer. I thought it was the drain pump so I ordered one and since we have we'll probably install it. Do you think it's a good idea to replace the locking pins and springs in addition to the absorbers? We cracked the housing on the water pump and that doesn't seem to be a part in the diagram! Thanks!
It is pretty obvious when it needs new shocks. You will see the drum warbling around. You can also push on the drum with your hand and see if it is firm or if it bounces around. Yes, if you change the shocks, use the new pins that come with them. It is difficult to diagnose without being there
Is it like a vehicle where it's a good idea to do the springs as well? The drum seems very loose in there. And there's oil leaking from all three shocks. Washer came with the house. I'm going to guess/ hope the shocks need replaced! I'm going to take one out and compare it to how it looked to expand in the video.
Is it warbling ? If you can move the inner and out drum independently of eachother then it can be the spider arm or worn out bearing. Also possible that after market shocks were not sufficient . Check the link for the OEM shocks
@@dinomusi1982 not always the suspension. Check to see if the inner drum (stainless steel part) is separated from the out drum (plastic ). It you hold the plastic drum with left hand and try to move the metal drum with other hand. If they move independently then you have a bigger issue

You can change all 3 shocks from the rear, with only removing the panel, save a bunch of headache
i’ve tried that a couple times. The space was too tight for me
Hello if the shock absorber are charged and still not passing over 6 min what else could be?

13mm hex socket? alternatives?
1/2”
Mine is very loud when spinning any suggestions
Can you describe the sound. The symptoms of it needing new suspension would be excessive shaking and banging
@@appliancerepairamerican seems more of a banging noise
