If you didn’t cry in chapter 5, you’re dead inside!

first time i’ve seen someone express the exact way i felt playing the game!!! after beating it i felt sort of hollow, and guilty for feeling hollow. but the more and more i thought about it the more my love grew for the game, which was completely sealed with future redeemed’s lovely ending <3

"My Noah" and "Your Mio" are such great hidden detail in the script that you can't understand until the second playthrough. Now I watch this part again, there are so many hints there to slightly ease our pain during the cutscene, yet it still works wonderfully. Great game, great writing, great directing.

In my opinion, during their previous chapter's conversation, Shania saw in Sena what she could have been like if Ghondor had been as supportive as Mio. In fact, in the flashbacks we see two opposite ways of how both of their friends reacted when they were imitated. Ghondor was a terrible friend.

What I love about this game, is that every time I go back to it, I am grown a bit more, to where I understand a new part of living. I am afraid to admit, I am not very good at understanding a lot of things, but this game keeps on teaching me. Lanz quest is the one that hits me hard now, the one I can finally understand. Such a beautiful message.

Sooooo minor observation, and this could be critical to everyone’s theories and it might be changed from the OG crisis core but in this game landed in Aerith’s church but he missed the flower bed by like 2 inches💔 Missions in the menu were my happy place too

I never quite connected with Shania my first time through but seeing her story again she really is one of the best characters in this game narratively, truly exemplifying the state of the game's world and it's themes

very strange cuts, you skip like 70-80% of the most important cutscenes, but leave some unimportant things easily very hard to watch

I love how everyone has the same reaction to seeing Hackt, following it up only having that one line of dialogue the writers and devs must have know what they were doing LOL

I've seen Fiona's hero quest like 3 times now and it still makes me tear up

The single best choice of this DLC was making Christopher Lloyd take the place of Rutger hauer as Xehanort.

One of the important things to remember is that, while the Norse gods aged and got weaker, the Greek gods got stronger as they got older. At this point kratos is like 900 years old I think? The reason things go so slowly sometimes is because he is having to hold back so he doesn't just destroy what he's doing. This is also why he holds back his rage. If he was at full strength, he doesn't want to risk killing his family again, and doesn't want to be the engine of destruction he used to be. On a different note, what was with with the chisel sections? Did you not play with vibration or something? Because you're not supposed to just randomly hack at the crystal 😂

It's funny to think that Ghondor is unknowingly standing next to her greatgreat<unknown>great grandparents. Note that both Ghondor and Shania act very differently in the Japanese version. What we know is that the souls are not wasted, some might not be reborn in Z's world, but they DO return when the flow of time continues _(Joran returns)_ But what about all those new lives/souls not "Recorded in Origin" _(They probably come back as they die the same way as Mobius)_ Z's world is complete and over the top Totalitarian (Bleak looking). "A"s world is complete and over the top Totalitarian (Nice looking) A similar depiction is used in *Tales of Arise,* showing various forms of oppression, sometimes you don't know you're nothing but a slave to something. The problem I had with the story is that the Vandham bloodline comes from Nia's world. Not from Melia's world. It could just have been a name-drop. Some people think that THIS saga was actually a prequel to the other Xeno games. Which would make no sense because, for instance, in Chronicles 2 Klaus talks about that world, and "A" shows it in Future redeemed, and Chronicles X flees from that world.

I finished this game for the first time over a year ago now but I’m still learning new things - for example, N was always destined to lose M, as seen in these flashbacks. And he turned to the endless now to keep her. However, when M and Mio switch, and M is sent on instead of Mio, N again loses her. It shows that that was always his destiny, regardless of what path he would take.

I can somewhat understand your comparison to capitalism in some of the cutscenes. But you can't really keep using that term without acknowledging that you are currently playing this piece of media through the means of capitalism(buying the game, playing on stream with the means of allowing people to pay you donations). It's the people that run the system that can be corrupt. Not the system itself.

You called flash fencer the "sword lesbian" class and yeah 1000%. I usually play mio as flash fencer and sometimws i put her and noah in the outfit so they match. Its such a clean outfit

This is my favorite media franchise that I've ever come across in my three decades. I discovered Xenoblade Chronicles in 2015. I am not a JRPG player, I've tried some of the other big titles like Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts and they couldn't get through to me. Somehow this game did. It did in such a big way. It became a huge part of my worldview and my outlook of life going forward, it made me who I am today. I owe so much to this series for the adventure it took me on, and I've tried to repay it by sharing the artistry and emotion of Xenoblade with people around me. However, it is -such- an enormous undertaking to get through this series and reap the rewards waiting at the end of this long journey. It's not for everyone. My experience with Xenoblade has been something I've carried alone with me for almost a decade now, and I've really only been able to make the connection to others through streams like this. I have watched so many streamers and creators explore these games and uncover the magic within, and, Violet, I am -so- happy to have seen someone with such unbridled, unfiltered love for Xenoblade go through these titles and resonate with them and more importantly, SHARE THAT LOVE WITH THE WORLD. I've watched every episode and it has been such a catharsis to see your heart and soul pour out through these games. You can only experience these games for the first time once, and I'm not a streamer or anything, but I wish I could go back and see my first steps through these worlds again and relive those feelings outside of my memories. Watching your streams has been the closest I could come, and it brought me such a deep catharsis. So I wanted to tell you "thank you" for sharing this with everyone on the internet. Thank you so much. :)

7:30 "They can Stealth like that" - LOL yeah ... you know that since the beginning of the game , you just forgot since you have probably put about 50 hours in between. 21:25 "Recycled - This is Sinister" - Well its not that much different from how Blades in XC2 returned to their core crystal when their driver died and when re-awakened by a new driver they had their memories wiped. At least the Bionis in XC1 had the mercy to not recycle the same persons over and over again while feeding on them. XC3 just combines the feeding of life force from 1 with the recycle process from 2 while also limiting their life span , making this whole process 1000x times more brutal than in any of the previous games. Technically People in XCX did run out of time too , but thats a whole different story , it might still have served as the inspiration to limit the lifespan of the Characters in XC3. 22:00 "Original Model" - Close Enough , but actually , since you have already completed XC3 you know how it works and that there is no Original Model left only the data ... so funny enough it works just the same as it works in XCX. XC3 just calls it Origin , while XCX calls it the Life Hold. But in any case it just shows how XC3 truely finishes of the trilogy while also borrow / re-use concepts of XCX too.

I'll be honest even before FR and the art book interview it takes a lot of reading into subtext to understand the story and especially the ending, but it *can* definitely be mostly understood just from playing the base game, it's just hard. If you still don't quite understand, I recommend Luxin's videos on the game, all of them tbh. The GOAT was getting things right before the art book, and FR confirmed them, and no one believed him, lol

It`s quite the burden. You may not want the responsibility" - Yeah you go girl , see , Sidequesting is bad. Cuz you may change the fate of the Characters involved. And thats quite the burden , not just for them cuz they have to adapt but also for you because you have to take responsibility and help them (its not just help once and abandon them) . Its funny how this holds true not just for Xenoblade 3 , but for 1 , Torna and X as well (not so much for Xenoblade 2 base game tho). Doing any Sidequest leads usually to more Sidequests and more Characters getting involved and needing help to adapt to their new situation. I wished more games would actually do this , it does not just give the Developers the opportunity to fill out the Lore and Worldbuilding better than anything , but in addition with the affinity chart it lets you also see first hand what impact your involvement has on others and how they struggle with their new situations and how their relationships change. (i guess its for me just another reason to s* on XC2 , its just the worst game in this series by being too differently build from all the others , and yeah XCX is different too but at least it is build with the same principals as the other games , you feel instantly at home with it) 1:13:25 .... Ethel + Gray Combat Styles are basicly split and tuned down versions of Elmas combat style from Xenoblade X I like the variety in XC3 and that it allows you to customize all party members so freely , XCX was very restricting in terms of options for Class / Combat Styles on each party member you had.

Morag / Brighit used 2 Swords that extended into Whips and she was a Tank. - Ethel is clearly based on Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X , not just her Dual Sword Style but her looks as well and even her personality , i guess you cant know that since you havent played Xenoblade X yet.

Watching this while driving was a mistake because I was bawling my eyes out during the Sena side story.

Just wanted to say I’ve watched each video of this series and your other Xenoblade series too. I’m so happy you enjoyed your time with it and Xenoblade as a whole!

When I first finished playing this game I also felt "incomplete". I knew I played a good game with a very powerful theme, but I wanted answers like something to link the previous two games to this game in a very fundamental way. In such a way, that would make me say "Yes, this is Xenoblade 3, the end of the Xenoblade trilogy". I mean seeing Melia and Nia and playing their side quests was a little snippit to that. In the end, it was the DLC that gave me the closure that I wanted since it provided me the answers I was looking for. Hopefully, you got that same/similar feeling after playing the DLC. :)
