- Here is the longer version. I'm really sorry to make two videos but my brain is only running on Zack Fair, the price of freedom and playable Sephiroth. So I made the short cut in addition to this longer one to encompass all of my emotions surrounding the FFVII Anniversary. I have never been this excited about gaming in my life. Can't wait to play these games!

BTW my theory based on absolutely nothing is that you will actually be able to win the unwinnable final battle in Crisis Core Reunion leading to the ending scenario that we saw in FF7 Remake. Maybe not on the first playthrough, but when meeting certain conditions.
I also find it VERY interesting that Ever Crisis is also covering Crisis Core story. So maybe Ever Crisis is the updated form of the "original" timeline while Reunion is the alternate timeline?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who lost it over the Crisis Core announcement... That seriously might be my favorite FF game since Tactics! (at the very least since X, this coming from someone who hasn't even contemplated jumping off the franchise in later years)

You know, I'm just theorizing here but, what if they alter or have a different ending available for Crisis Core: Rebirth? They ARE changing Zack's continuity for the main game, why not have some sort of alteration that coincides with his new role? They might do it up like they would for the "secret ending movies" for Kingdom Hearts. I don't know, I just swim in the "what if's."

Here’s some food for thought. In the rebirth trailer we see the iconic white feather from angeal falling when we see Zack, and the title card of Remake is crimson red. Angeal and Genesis’ fates perhaps also being what changed at the edge of creation in Remake and not just Jesse, Biggs, and Zack. Who can say? But some reality check here as well winter next year goes up to March 20th 2024. So I’m guessing a February 2024 release for Rebirth so as not to conflict with FFXVI release next year. Also if it’s only 3 parts this means a few things. Either none of the events in the original besides Nibelheim flashback will be in Rebirth (no Gold Saucer, Junon heavily cut, Costa Del Sol, Corel Mountain, Mideel, Slap fight on Junon cannon between Tifa and Scarlett, Rocket Town, Rocket launch sequence, Sunken submarine, City of Ancients, forgotten city, snowboarding in the mountains, etc. How are they all being packed into FFVII part 2? Probably most of it is being cut and an entire new story is being told. Which is cool but I would have loved to experience all of those events with this type of high level fidelity graphics, music, animations and voice acted. That would have been simply amazing. Oh well.
Most of the cities are small except for Junon, Gold Saucer, and Northern Craters. I think they can all fit into Rebirth if SE wants. Weapon release will make an ideal cliffhanger ending.
@@banjira Midgar was also small in the OG game. Midgar is now 100gb+. Junon alone is comparable to Midgar’s size in the OG. Just scaling the little towns up would be immense in terms of size. Cosmo Canyon, Mideel, City of the Ancients, Forgotten forest, wutai, gongaga, each would be 20-50gb in size. Just the main locations you mentioned would be 100 gb+. You really think that Rebirth is going to be 300gb+? That’s still cutting out all the other locations I mentioned and I didn’t even mention Nibelheim which was shown in the trailer. Yeah ok. Not happening, major cuts are happening that is the reality since they want to condense it down into a trilogy. Imagine buying a PS5 and the only games you can fit on it without external storage is just FF7Remake, Rebirth, and probably not even the third part. No logic in that. Would I like a much larger more sprawling world? Absolutely. Is that realistic with what they are doing and limitations of technology? No not at all.

Ahhh Crisis Core the only gacha slot machine system that I can tolerated in game.
I'm calling it now. after rebirth they announce dirge of Cerberus Requiem. especially since eemake is a direct sequel to Dirge. Rebirth will set up Genesis and Minerva. with Genesis will come the Loveless prophecy. then part 3 (rejuvenation?) The party kills sephiroth who is attempting to leave Gaia via Omega. we crush omega via chaos. perhaps then that's when the "goddess will descend from the sky with wings of white and black. I believe that is when Genesis will sacrifice himself for the sake of the planet, and just like that the pure s cell, and pure G cell will be destroyed,the planet free from its shackles, Humans will survive for ever, no longer will they be extinct 500 years from FF7

In OG once you in kalm cloud and co rested that when you do the nibheim flashback. That was the Nib mountain. Later on in OG you actually visit nibheim in present time.
Crisis core expanded it further.
