Alot of creases now that the panels are bent back! Ugh.

Have you done an update on this? Was it worth the price? Did you notice any difference?

Trying to sell my saddle which I had made for my horse and unaltered from new. It’s XXW but the amount of people asking me to measure the D rings and then lose interest when I tell them the measurement. I looked up this video when originally asked to measure the d rings as I didn’t know what they were on about. Im so glad I found this video, which makes perfect sense, yet they still insist on d ring measurements even when told it’s unreliable method of ascertaining the width. I’ve resorted to just sending a link to your video, and have given up arguing the toss with them! Thing is, how do they ever find a saddle that will fit? It’s bad enough trying to find a good fit without having the elusive D ring measurement to contend with! Thanks so much for putting this video out, it’s restored my sanity😁

My daughter absolutely loves these stirrups. She rides almost every day and wouldn't think of riding any other irons.

Have you got any tips for a saddle that slips back? My saddle fitter basically travels the whole country for her brand and I can't get her until January, but my horse has lost 20kg recently and my saddle keeps slipping back 😩 Any temporary tips until she can get to me? Gel pads maybe?

I think my black leather saddle has a build up of saddle soap on the seat. Either that or it looks slightly rough/rubbed. How would you recommend to get rid of a build up of engrained soap please? Thank you!

Iv got a hard to fit Gypsie/Haflinger. Short back and table top! I know I don’t want a treeless:):)::) Any suggestions on a possible saddle. Im “told” a Duett to s good for draft crosses. tysm! I usually get ppl to do my girth up at my barn for me but I'm a young rider so I'm less experienced and only started a month ago, I can fully untack, and tack except for my girth so this rlly helps!

what about swayback pads which provide a bit of thicker cushion in the middle to lessen the bridging effect?

This is a very superficial discussion of treeless saddles. I think you know that using a pillow as a surrogate for a treeless saddle is absurd. There are some excellent treeless saddles out there that distribute weight quite well. Gee, a saddle fitter trashing treeless saddles. There's a shocker.

My saddle slips to the right all the time, thinking possibly using the balance strap, would I use this on the left side as it slips to right ? Or right and left x 😊

I do have a question. I was always taught wool halfpad should go under the saddle. But when I do it people look at my like I have 5 heads. It’s my underfunding it’s how it is supposed to be used. I assume the shift is because half pads are expensive, and so they put them over the saddle pad to keep them cleaner. But there’s so much more benefit to the wool to be directly on skin. When I asked my stübben saddle, fitter, if I should use a pad with my saddle because my horse needs to gain a little muscle or saddle, doesn’t fit as it should right now, she advised that I was correct and I should use the half pad under my saddle pad m is there any actual difference or benefit one way or the other?
