Watch as I learn the basics of TRICK RIDING in a lesson at The Knights Of Middle England.
Emma Tytherleigh shows me how to (gracefully?) throw myself around in the saddle, how to balance, and how to 'present' the moves... by the end I'm hanging upside down from Toby the SuperCob... with a massive smile on my face.
This day was honestly the best day I've ever had. After 5 years of not enjoying riding (had a massive accident), this was the first time I truly had FUN on horseback, erm, probably since I was a teenager (30 years ago!).
The biggest lesson that I learned was that we CAN move around in the saddle, A LOT, without falling off. Which was invaluable for my confidence. I am TOTALLY going back for more, as often as I can!

I'm sorry about your accident, I can't imagine how terrified I'd be riding again after a serious accident like yours.
Not only are you back on a horse again, but you're also doing something that most riders would find scary.

I’m trying to train my muscles really hard to become like you :) I have learnt how to jump and canter I’m just trying really hard to become a trick rider do you know some good exercises?
