That's so cool of them though!! A great opportunity to show why you need to make sure your wintec is right!

That is absolutely amazing of Wintec to send you a new model with the newest CAIR, although I think it's called HART now.
I look forward to that video!

Very interested as been using a wintec for years on my mare, recently (literally last week) had her fitted to a brand new kent & masters which fits like a dream! But my 4yr old will need a new saddle soon and seeing as he is growing i was leaning more towards another wintec, but am concerned after seeing the popped air bag. Would there be any way to tell without taking a saddle apart to see if its popped?

Your fitter could make an educated guess on it. But stay tuned because part three is coming up - where we look at the new air versions which have been improved a lot!

I was wondering, I have a wintec 500 cair saddle and had a saddle fitter out today, he put wool stuffing into it, is this correct?

Sometimes the air bags have been replaced with flock and therefore putting flocking in is fine. If it’s one of the older ones that doesn’t take the shims then sometimes some fitters put flock in them - just have to be very careful of the air bags. On the whole, in most situations, the risers are better than flock in the newer ones. If he’s a qualified saddle fitter and knows his stuff re Wintec saddles then trust him. Xxx

I’m so pleased you did this as my saddler has recommended a Bates saddle for my daughters mare as she’s currently in a wintec wide cob(4xw) and it’s flocked.... and the newer versions of either wintec or Bates are only available with Cair, which I really didn’t want after hearing lots of negative reviews (not yours, from friends...and on forums)... my saddler insisted that they have come on a long way since their first release. Hopefully you will enlighten me and reassure... however, if you can recommend a flocked saddle that comes in 4xw under £2000 I would be very interested.... my saddler is against the Thorowgood / Kent and masters.... I have a new T8 which I love for my mare, and was recommended and fitted by same saddler, but when it comes to my daughters VERY BROAD section D, he prefers wintec/Bates. Would love to read your thoughts. I’m the other end of the country from you or else I would book you. Love your channel. I have a lot of respect for you as you clearly know your stuff, but I love your quirkiness, such fun!😊
