Hello! Sad news... my Jimny FJ is dead... the engine is cracked. The Jimny FJ was sold with engine damage. I'm looking for a Jeep Renegarde Trailhang 2.0 diesel (170 hp) and I'll look at it tomorrow. One question, do you have a diesel or a petrol engine? I think petrol is right? I'm only asking because 130,000 km for 15,000 euros is a lot of money. The Dacia Duster would be cheaper, but I don't want a 1.6 diesel (112 hp), but it can do more off-road. Well, the Dacia Duster seems to be cheap. I run an '84 CJ7 and my wife runs a '23 Renegade and she keeps up just fine. I might suggest a locker upgrade to keep the traction on your Renegade. It sure helped my wife's. Great video!

Complete brain dead IDIOT the renegade is not a full on rock crawleryou will break soemthing this time it was the front bumper. It is contrary to many peoples biased opinion a capable off roader but every vehicle has its limits no matter who makes it be it jeep, landrover, toyota etc etc no normal 4x4 off roader can do the stuff the islandic offroaders do without serious medifications just loke this jeep can not do that without either damaging as happened or serius modifications to a level that faclitate doing this even in a renegade. So no criticism of the vehicle just the retard behind the wheel. Bèf up the skid plates and cover even more of the underside, get a 2" lift to give more groundclearance and as others have said something like the avid metal bumper. Last fit rock sliders as well, probably a bit more to do as well but then at least your making your vehicle more capable of this sort of terrain and not being a dumb ass and destroying parts of it, which the vehicle clearly does not desrve to have done to it, bit like asking the rock to run an ultra marathon in the desert rather than asking him to stand his ground in a one on one fight, one is a reasonable expectation the other is a disaster in the making and if you dont know which is which that would sum you up perfectly.

Same exact experience I had with my Renegade, took it to the dealer for an issue a *brand new* vehicle shouldn't have, & they gave it back in worse condition! Is it just Jeep techs/dealerships, or has the automotive industry taken a massive shit? Either way it's a grim feeling when you paid all this $ for a vehicle with a false sense of operational security. They wanna play the blame game or just straight up lie to your face.

Hey, broh! Sorry to hear about your experience with this mechanic. Fortunately for me, here in Brazil, I have found a reliable place for my Renegade Traillhawk 15/16. The one I have here is diesel so the engine is much more heavy than the one you have so this motor mount replacement is a service that happens a lot more quick in the car. Unfortunately the kit is very expensive for us here. My Jeep is schedule to do this service at 135.000 Km (83.885 miles), waiting for the pieces to come, right now.

What trim level is that? I have a 2020 altitude I've been playing with ideas about lifting, putting on some falken A/Ts and a roof rack. How much of a lift did you go with and did you need spacers for the bigger tires? I like your build. I wasn't sure it was worth investing in but your rig looks impressive!
