Hi… just wanted to thank you for this video on your Sailors. I loved the burgundy Sailor 1911 Realo. Just got mine! I wanted to let you know that it comes in a pro Gear model (not pro gear slim). Both were hard to find on Amazon because of subject line (listings have typos) but they are there. Under $200 and the retail is$424. My husband got the Pro gear Realo burgundy and I got the black.. in the 1911 version I got the burgundy. Regarding the piston, it was very easy to clean. I had put Kon Peki in and read it a stains the window so changed the ink. Easy! Both the 1911and the full Pro Gear size write beautifully. Hope you check out the Pro Gear size.i agree with yo…. I like the Pro gear size more than the Pro Gear slim. Thanks again!

I love my Estie OS in Bleu Nouveau with a needlepoint nib, but I'm still kicking myself for missing out on the Cosmic Wine and I let the Rocky Top slip past me. Please bring them back, Kenro!

I also had trouble with glitter in my TWSBI so I do stick to plainer inks, I am not sure if people will agree but I do find the broader the nib it does handle glitter easier, or maybe just coincidence. I have the Benu Euphoria Grey Caviar pen on my wish list !

Hope you enjoy the auction Lori, congrats🎉 I personally am not into auctions; I find they are unnecessarily stressful for me. Besides time zone differences and all just make the whole thing difficult. But if I wanted to get one of those pens, I would definitely go for that soft lavender. That colour is gorgious 🪻 I have the peacock pen btw. İt is quite a few years old but I can't quite remember the timing. İt was before but close to the rocky top pen I think. Don't quote me on that though. İt is beautiful but I don't reach for it much anymore because it has an EF nib. I should get a specialty nib from Esterbrook for that pen and restart using it 🤔 Sometimes we just need to be reminded of the beautiful pens we have but don't use.. thanks for that 😊

As i have a few pens in my immediate wishlist, I can only be happy that the show will be in a timezone that is not convenient for me. No matter how much I like any of these, i would not get up at 3 am for an auction 😂

I would love a Blue Moon. But I just can’t understand why they would only do a limited run of 100 when they could easily sell 10x that amount. I find auctions very stressful. I also live in South Africa so when it’s 8pm your time, it’s like 3 in the morning my side. Good luck to anyone who will be participating!

YAY congrats for being part of the Esterbrook team, Lori, and for kicking this auction off!! Hope you have tons of fun! Personally I don't like auctions as I'm not one with tons of money for these potentially high price/bidding contests, LOL, but good luck to all of those who will bid and hope they get a beautiful Esterbrook that they wanted! I also personally love that lilac/lavender colored pen and the turquoisey teal one! Those would be my top contenders. NOW WHY DIDN"T ESTERBROOK just not release these as limited runs?! One offs when they're that gorgeous? :)

Have they changed from JoWo nibs? I love Schmidts. I think the Tsuki-Yo (first one you tried) really complements the pen's vibe, and I would love to bid on the Vegas Nights--it's a distinctive color combo and the ring at the base of the cap dresses up the pen. Looking forward to Wednesday--this is my favorite brand.
