Respect to you sir. Just a few things I wonder about, and I don't mean to be negative but.. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier in yourself to get a slightly bigger van.. Maybe Despatch size? Wouldn't really have cost so much more. When you say you're living in your van, aren't you really just sleeping in the van. No facilities for cooking, washing or anything. Each to his own, but don't you get fed up of having to eat out all the time? Oh and BTW I think you'll soon have a big female fan base.... In fact I'd imagine quite a few of your subscriber base are women... Won't be long before you're getting lots of invites to her RV... 😂

I hit a lazy block when I was knitting out my van to live in full time, and my van is as small as yours, I hated doing the insulation in the van it was a nightmare, it's all done now and I live in it full time as homeless like you I still work but been rent free for years now looking to buy land in North Sweden, and I'll never return to living in bricks and mortar

LOL... sometimes ignorance IS bliss. If you had had any grasp of just how ill equip and ill prepared you were to embark on kitting out a van you would never have taken the plunge. Necessity is the mother of invention, and once you were in the shit, you knew you had no choice but to find a way out. Well done young fella if you can navigate 12 months as you have, it will have given you a mental resilience and foundation that you will be able to build off in the future allowing you to tackle problems that would see most people crumple. This country needs more young folk with your attitude and drive; head up and plough forward Kidda.

I religiously buy 20 ltr Jerry cans ( plastic ) and fill them full of diesel, to date I have 240 LTRs of diesel as a back up for my diesel heater and van , so fuel shortage doesn't effect me

Yeah van conversion is a good idea until you start it lol Its taken me 2 years to convert my caddy maxi and still things need doing but at least I can get away in it now. Before the caddy part converted a T4. Lifted the floor to find someone previously had screwed something to the floor and made over 130 holes which you could see daylight through, spent a weekend treating and filling each one :( It will be worth it in end no matter how long it takes.

Love this, really excited for you. I started my build in the winter and the first thing I did after stripping everything out was install a diesel heater and battery, was soooo much easier after that 😊 look forward to seeing it progress 👍🏻

Hi do you know of anyone with a garage or shed that you can work on van in all weather? Huge difference of footage showing before and after cleaning rust. When i had my van I thought it was a screw that hard to get out, then learnt its a rivet and drill to get out.

tap the remainder of the pop rivets with a hammer, you can't pull them out because they are wider at the back.

Will keep you out of trouble 😊

I recommend to install a little window in the roof of the van. So you don't get mold problems this time.

It looks so cold there ! I've never tackled a van build myself but I'm going to try making a set of removable cupboards and cook top for my suv. I really love watching real people do these things on a budget because I can relate. I'm a can of carrots kind of person 😂 I'm really looking forward to seeing how you deck this new van out. ❤

Pop rivets should be drilled out and then you can re use the wood paneling. Come on bro, next time get some advice before you use your (brute force)
