I had a horrible hell with a withdrawal in 2015 so trying again now slower. I know that hell you’re talking about so when I feel the least bit of a symptom unfortunately my mind goes right to that horrible withdrawal and I get scared . Gonna try to remember what you said and watch your videos for encouragement. Thank you

Hey from NZ 🇳🇿 Elijah… I find dry cutting off diaz I get the first little wave at 96hrs and then around 12-14 days is when it really hits, imo I wonder if its here where people think they are in tolerance. Anywhoo I’m still dry cutting and dosing x3 a day and your video on water taper finally sunk into my head so thank you. I am from 19mg to 3.5mg but its taken me from end of Sept 2021 to now but I did have 7mnths off coming off another med.

My ex and I had to have an elective abortion in 2011 when we got pregnant and were not ready. I’d just come off medications (opiate + benzo) and she got pregnant on the pill. I was feeling so broken, unknowingly in akathisia & pain, and knew that I couldn’t even take care of myself. Fast forward to 2017, she’s turning 35 and I’m 42 and back on meds and trying to taper to have a child. I raced off meds and got thrown into fertility treatments trying to conceive and paid with my life. She left me tapering in a hotel after 10 years together in the summer of 2019. I even pulled up and tried to hold, eventually jumping from klonopin a year after she was gone. I had 3 failed CT/quick taper jump attempts before she did. I guess what I’m saying is try and feel grateful you have the opportunity to try again. I lost my partner and my health trying to have kids.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s so important to hear, I just had this conversation with my Dr. regarding the lower dose and dropping doses. I’m doing a liquid taper at this point. I asked for the tiniest syringes from my pharmacist, Im dropping if a very small amount. At times I have widespread body pain and feel dizzy , anxiety, racing heart. I lost 12 lbs. very happy about that. I lay out on the kitchen floor. Im working as well. I try to stay away from caffeine. I need some, but cannot drink the amounts I used to. I had the farts so bad....now it's gone. But the 5mg mark farts. When got to 3mg just swallon no farts.....valium taper.

I have akasthisia from polydrugging. I have been on lots of drugs and stuck on them most of my life, I am taking ativan as needed but I have no plan of going off it anytime soon.

Are you taking ambien still?

i know exactly where you are, if you could stay and get better from that point forward, thatll would be great for you.. take it slow and fight the urge, youve been on them so long big cuts are out of the question

That’s my best advice is to not allow yourself to get too bad. Pushing through was the last thing I did normally on this planet. I jumped May 2020. Chronic akathisia, tardive dystonia, TD in my face/tongue, severe tinnitus. The tinnitus explosion was my first sign things had gone wrong. I had traumatic awakening erupt. I was flying out of bed, my head yanked back in dystonia in air hunger. I was drowning in my upper sinuses. Neurological madness. Most of my worst symptoms erupted tardive 4-18mths off. My leg pain increased significantly in year 3 & 4.

Hi I love your videos give me hope Ihave been on klonopine for 30 year . I was on 2 ml in 2019 when covid hit. My doctor retired then take to my brian doctor he put me on 1ml been on that for year half. He wanted to put me on 0.5 four month ago ISaid no that was ok. I have epilepsy so I take med for that. Afraid he will retire to do not know what to do. Sorry this is long how do you crossover to valium. Thank you. Can you take antibiotics when tapering.

Benzodiazepines being very effective medications, even at very low doses they bind to a a very significant number of receptors. This is the "law of mass action". For example, at 0.5 mg they will bind to around 40%, but 1 mg will bind to only around 50-60%. This is the reason the lower you get , the bigger the reduction's effect is on the nervous system. This is well detailed in The Maudsley Depescribing Guidelines. Please go slow and reduce very gradually. I dropped too fast and I still have severe symptoms 17 months later.

My cortisol was off the chain every morning. I awoke at 5am to incredible fright. Didn't matter what it was, I was scared out of my mind. I lost 35 lbs on the withdrawal. I am back to my normal weight. You will be too. All of you. I have joined your website and have contributed in writing.

Oh the pain had it many years in tolerance. Got so bad earlier this year im now using a pain balm.. Relate to the feeling it [ walked off once none of this].
