Nice job! Is there a reason you flipped the CPU fan from blowing cool air across the heat sink fins to blowing away from the CPU heat sink fins? Did an awesome job, but that little change messed me up. Maybe it was just me though, Shrug..... God Bless and have a good one.

1 thing to keep in mind, as i seen it happen, the "do not cover this hole" on hard drives, sometimes dirt and tiny metal shavings and such can make its way inside there and on very rare cases mess up the drive, always take the cover off in a clean room and if it seems fine then put it back, also the board on the hard drive, i had on numerous occasions had dust, hair, dirt, etc get in there, and 1 good thing about that though is you can usually remove the board without needing to access the internals or ruin the warranty, unless its solid state

Never understood why people who smoke a lot do it near appliances like computers or even just smoke inside a home. Do they not know the residue build up?

HP Pro 3130 Small Form Factor its actually still useable in 2024 as im still using mine which ive had since new in 2010 lol i upgraded the CPU to an i5 650 , put a 128gb Kingston SSD inside and 16gb ddr3 ram , sadly the gpu is limited to a 1gb gpu so you wont be gaming on it but it does everything can play 1440p videos no problem too , I will upgrade soon though as it cant support new windows versions.

i find this hard to believe, but holy crap. most dirty pc I've ever seen.

Well this computer was grossly neglected by owner. I had some dirty computers in my repair practice but not to this point. From my experience many fans do not survive even less dust -- the RPM control transistors burn out. Same can be said about power supply, if there is not enough airflow many components can fail due overheating, the capacitors and MOSFETs first to die. Well, the last part of video where the computer successully boots indeed a second life of the computer.
