I had many doubts about this because I want to keep a satisfying and ASMR goal, but it is for me also a good way to communicate about a sponsorship or any other things with you guys. These PC's used to be EVERYWHERE and now you really never see them any more. They were AFWULLY designed (Look at the CPU cooler being majorly blocked by the power supply and the woeful lack of expandability, for example) and used very, very low quality components. I think many were just scrapped as soon as they stopped being useful. Acer (and thus also Pakcard Bell) quickly switched to a more sensible design after. At this point, i'd consider them somewhat of a relic of the late 2000's.
I agree, it is the 1st time I have to remove the PSU first, and it was not as easy as it looks on video...

Put windows 11 on this pc
Well there was already Windows on this PC and didn't reinstall it, but I guess you are right. Windows 11 should works pretty well on this PC.

As usual, you did such a great job! I thought Packard Bell was gone like 15 years ago. I didn't know they kept making PCs in Europe. It was pretty surprising to see the Acer name on the motherboard. It always amazes me how great these machines look when you are done with them. It was really cool to hear your voice in the beginning, you have a really great accent! Acer bought Packard Bell,Gateway and emachines. Anything under those names are just lower grade Acer computers
@@Mirra2003-f9s Yeah, I'm all too familiar with the cheap crap from post-Acer Gateway XD. All but ONE computer I have had that was made by Acer died due to motherboard failure.
@@93Volvo240 Acer stuff was usually low quality rebranded ECS and Foxconn boards. The only decent ones were the ones that had rebranded Intel boards like the one in the video. I have an old Acer Veriton at work with a 2nd gen i7 that still runs on all original components 12 hours a day with 0 issues. Business grade ones are actually ok but anything else is just meh
