I just got the game and started on explorer. It’s extremely difficult for a new player like me but I’m committed to learning the combat mechanics. I appreciate the guide and the passion you have for wanting to help out us noobs enjoy this incredible game
You can do it! Take a look at several of my latest build guides. You’ll be rocking honor mode in no time and if you have any questions at all or want guides just let me know I’m here to help you my friend!💯💯💯❤️
@@ThatAnxiousGamer thanks my friend! Haha I put in over 8 hours yesterday alone on the game. It’s so addictive, I took on the goblin leaders through sheer force of muscle with only 3 party members. Time to go get the companions I missed haha
Explorer is a great 😊 option to play the game. Thank you so much for watching and hope your like 👍🏻 the video and stay tuned I’ve got a lot more on the way!
As a very casual gamer, I am worried Tactician will be too much for me. I gave up on Divinity OS because of its dificulty and I don't want to do the same with BG3. Even though I am an ex-gamer boomer, explorer it is!
Do what is best for you! Baldur gate is a remarkable game and I truly want as many people as possible to enjoy it. That’s why I’m committed to making detailed guides and tutorials. I think you will love this game and over time you may naturally explore other difficulty as you find them relevant and enjoyable. Hope you found the video helpful and 👍🏻 liked it 💯❤️ I got a lot more like this on the way.
Shit just realized i was on balanced not tactician after watching this. Played balanced 1st time when it 1st came out. Was wondering why it seemed easy. Just got to act 2 so glad i can switch it before i waste the whole playthrough without experiencing it the better way
Just completed my first playthrough in explorer. I absolutely loved the game and the story but the combat was absolutely brutal, easily the least enjoyable aspect of the game. I wish there was a way to make the combat feel less like an uphill slog.
I think youre doing something wrong or you should dive into balancing out the characters. I just finished the game as well, and yes battles were difficult, but everything was beatable with out everyone dying. Look into better wearables, weapons, items speciffics per class. What the best feats, best spells, how to use spell casters, fighters rogues etc etc
@@SuperYelmer I actually think the commenter is valid af. So I’m a person who enjoys the story more than anything bg3 had such potential for me cause it has such nice characters and a story it basically screams my name, tho the combat mechanics is what threw me off I HATE IT, not that it destroys the whole game for me no but I did get stuck a lot cause god damn the combat sucks I hate it personally so u never know maybe this person just isn’t into dnd and this specific combat system which is valid a good example would be Atlus persona 5 royal and persona 3 re and how they have the safe difficulty for those who wanna focus on the story which is what I wanted to do with bg3 so I just ended up uninstalling after getting stuck. At the end of the day it’s a preference situation so please keep that in mind when peeps say oh I can’t play the game it’s too hard…yes I don’t give a flying fuck about the combat I wanted to get further in the story… that’s a me thing you might enjoy a challenge and that’s u how wonderful right!

Thanks for this great video, I found it really helpful before jumping into the game. Going Tactician for my first play-through, since I'm a BG2 vet.
the game is really hard even on explorer... how you manage honour mode is beyond me

Bg3 was my first turn-based-combat game and balanced was hella difficult at first, but now tactician feels too easy
Honestly, you just gotta find good builds
man thank you so much!!!
Glad to have helped!
Thanks
tactician is too easy but honour mode can be kinda brutal because of bugs with platforms..
