Another peice of evidence that there was some other pre-curser or great tree is that the primordial crucible based on context is not the erd tree itslef as a crucible by definition can be determined as either a holding pot for some sort of melted material in this case life or it can be a trial/transformative test that creates or results in whtever going thru it to be transfromed or to "bloom" into a new form and based on the fact that the erd tree is sort of semi spirtual/illusory the crucible may be a sort of alchemy pot made to melt and meld souls to create the erd tree and the great tree could have been the "mold" used to create the erd tree like how molds are used in metal work

I disagree that Radhan joining miquella would be radhans dream resulting in an endless war for the age of compassion. Miquellas age of compassion seems to be pretty clearly indicating that there would be no more war. That coupled with how there seems to be no clear confirmation that radhan was in on the plan makes me think that miquellas reign would be contingent on brainwashing thus making him the bad guy, even if the brainwashing is in service of his ultimate goal of peace and harmony. I wonder if in the age of compassion there would be similarities between miquella/radhan and marika/godfrey where once the god achieved the power to enact their age the consort would then be cast out as no longer fitting within the order they were tasked to enact. I also question the role that death would play in miquellas age of compassion. Would it still be removed or would people simply die of old age? Would deaths existence not cause disparity and suffering? If so would miquella use his charm to prevent the grieving from feeling their grief rendering death inconsequential? If death exists but does not cause disparity than I think that leads to life itself being inconsequential, being able to choose to do good or bad and deal with the consequences is one of the foundational determining factors of ones character. Removing the ability to choose to do bad and deal with the consequences even if its to a creatures benefit does not match 1 to 1 with the idea of mortal law and order, people are free to choose to do bad things and suffer the consequences which makes means when they choose to do good theres actual significance. Making it so one is only able to choose good means that essentially the choice is neither good or bad, it's not even a choice, just someone doing what they were programmed to do. If death is removed would that not lead to the same stagnation that ends up being the ruin of both the golden order and the age of fire from dark souls? I think a running theme in this game is strife leading to evolution. Evolution is messy, can lead to horrible mutations that cause agony to the creature experiencing it but over time the beneficial mutations are passed on through natural selection and those creatures may attain a higher form of life unimaginable to their ancestors. Ending the process of evolution in the name of an age of peace IMO would only be acceptable if the highest form of life had already been achieved. Which it could be argued that miquella ascending to godhood would be achieving that highest form of life however for a being to be considered to have ascended to the highest form of life I think it would have to be undeniably infallible and the controversy surrounding miquellas methods show that he is not even if he strives to be. He abdicates himself of his empyrean flesh but not of his ties to his empyrean brother. He uses moghs unwitting corpse as the vessel for the soul of his favored brother. He retains his former form in spirit and is able to communicate with mortals directly rather than becoming an incomprehensible living concept of compassion such as becoming a new elden ring like configuration of runes. He abdicates his mortal emotions and removes his other half st trina and leaves her to die. I wouldn't consider one having infallible compassion if one did not show compassion for their own self. One thing i like about Fromsofts games is that they are up for interpretation and its hard to know what is going on! Its like history, no one nows exactly what happened and its up to us to make up our own mind of how every thing played out and who was good and who was evil! Love the video btw

So Marika most have stolen baby Melina and sealed her gloam eye. Then she went Radagon mode and seduced the GEQ, which produced Messmer. She sealed away his abyssal serpent with the eye of grace. That or she got baby Melina after the assassination. I'm wondering if Messmer was even created on purpose. Melina was definitely wanted. It could be that Marika was just trying to get close enough to the GEQ to allow Maliketh to make the kill, but accidentally caused a pregnancy.

Maybe thats why miquella embedded himself in the roots, because he knew it was a tree of "death" once upon a time but unfortunately its a hollowed out husk and isnt alive anymore, and couldnt help him cross over to the land of shadow, so he had to come up with a different method.

I think it was the original plan. I'm not all onboard with Mohg being charmed from the jump. I think Miquella would've achieved god status from his tree, the long play, but Mohg interrupted it and that's where plan B comes in. While the others fight over territory essentially.

pretty sure that the stump in the deeproot depths is supposed to be just that - a stump, the reason being that when the object is supposed to go up past player's field of view into supposedly another location above, only the things that should be legally visible *are textured* and thus the stump should be *hollow(as in, no texture of any kind)* on top to imply its continuation elsewhere. Since it isnt, I feel like the top has a texture for a concrete reason. They know full well we'll freecam there to check it out, so they give it a texture to signal that the object ends there and doesnt go into another map

Take objects out of player's sight with a grain of salt. There are stumps away from the player's eyes because there isn't a point in adding detail and leaves and further branches that shouldn't be seen at all. Otherwise it'd be just bad optimzation. Bad development practice.
