Oh judgement thou hast fled to brutish beasts and men have lost their reason.
that’s where we are!
I think if Orange had said something like "Blonde was about to burn the cop alive and me as well since I was near" he might have been more convincing and giving a somewhat valid justification to shoot him. Granted, Eddie may have been still pissed off at him but at least he (maybe) would have seen his point
"Either he's alive or he's dead,or the cops got him,or they don't🫲 🫱"
Does justice to Shakespeare's rhetoric. Beautiful❤
nothin new. just method acting
madsen is a serial killer in real life. Hes called Madsen 23, but if they knew the real number theyd call him Madsen 600. MAGA…
Just wanted to say I'm driving down the scenic highway on the banks of the Ohio river right across from West Virginia and I thought about this scene and had to come in here and comment. I guess I should make it official and say something stupid like who's on the banks of the Ohio River in 2024? Edit- I'll make it even better. I'm 35 years old on the banks of the Ohio river in 2024 and this is such an underrated movie. There you go I think I've hit all my marks
2:58 because he's a fucking psycho 😂😂😂
Single greatest piece of acting I've ever scene
Love the writing of this movie. Starts with White and Orange and ends with White and Orange.
Shes 21 a kid
Amazing delivery.
3:59 *When I'm playing among us and I know who the imposter is but all the other players dont believe me...*
everyone has their own personal tastes but I prefer Heston's forum speech. Brando seems to hurry by comparison
Im glad this scene was cut , despite popular opinion My personal feeling is after seeing the Final Cut and understanding the Complexities of Brandos character especially through the Dossier Readings Willard goes through on route to Kurtz location , it seems like the Openness and transparent nature kurts displays in this scene is overwhelming and shakes the mystery of the legend away from him . I also feel that Kurtz is a man who also cannot Live with himself , hence his persistance in hinting for Willard to Kill him , this scene doesnt appear to depict the fractured mentality of that man , it displays kurtz as a man very intune with current happenings even reading a magazine... there is a reason this scene Was cut. It just didnt do the mysterious kurtz we know .. any justice at all and completley would have shattered the cold , dark and poetic figure we are in Awe of. The dehumanisation of kurtz is the Marvel of his Presence.
Kurt Hansen
Wow 😲
"... He's a good kid"
Mr White may be a criminal but he's got some morals about not killing innocent people (maybe even Mr Pink has), but Mr Blonde does not have any, he enjoys being a criminal, torturing and killing people (but he is still my fave character and Michael Madsen is hot stuff)
Great scene , i always believe of last talks to be more of a lie because its tremendous the way the talk treats itself is actually everything. Love Brando❤
Mr Blonde is such an odious cunt he makes reasonable moral men want to torture him.
you merely adopted the dark. Kurtz was born in it.
Now and again my mental healthl breaks down and I relate to this part of the film
Milus and Coppola weren't thinking this through. Toledo is only slightly more than 200 miles from the Ohio River. And since the Ohio is the southern border of the State, and since Ohio's width is about 220 miles, and it's length is also 220 miles, it's impossible to be 300 miles from the Ohio River.
When Kurtz tells us of the Gardenia flowers we get a insight that he was once a kind man who loved flowers. He not only knew the name of the flowers, he thought it was beautiful and still holds dearly to the memory of the place. It shows the complete transformation the war has caused
Brando utterly amazing as Kurtz !
Riviting...
I don't see..... Any method..... At all sir MAGA 24
"Thats correct, thats your story?" The mounting frautration and anger as he is basically putting together what happened with the job, its fantastic. He and his father are the ONLY people who know anything about the others, and he immediately zeros in on Orange's bullshit. Even more tragic that its a GOOD FRIEND OF HIS.
Crazy how Brando showing up significantly overweight contributed so much to the film. Shooting him enveloped in that darkness is so f*ing amazing and beautiful. Easily some of the best cinematography ever to be created.
Apart from pulp fiction Tarantino dies in almost every movie man
Snubby mag wud b loud a.f. in that warehouse. Nvm the 9 dude just unloaded.. no wonder they re all yelling
No wonder he had 47,000 kids 😂
i'm older than brando was when he played in this movie. movies are a distraction. most people will know all sorts of movies.. but will burn in the lake of fire forever.
Ladies and gentleman, I present you Marcus Passivus Antonio Agressivus
No way this was platonic ..
Brando at his absolute best.
Ay que bruto
such great writing
2:10 I love Eddie's response to beating the cop 😂
then some idiot will say heaths joker is better than this lol.
4:53 Nice Guy Eddie: Larry stop pointing that fucking gun at my dad!! (Everyone shoots each other)
Beautiful
Marlon Brando doing Marlon Brando natural unedited straight from the father
MB
Ive said this in another clip but marlon wouldve killed being judge holden in a blood meridian adaption, as unfilmable it is he wouldve been fantastic
Her voice and demeanour remind me of Kathleen Brennan, Tom Wait's wife
