@@acmarston Yeah Brando was know to be very physical and method in any scene no matter who was with him. Pretty sure he actually slapped the actress in Last Tango
From what I read in a biography of Teresa Wright, there was even more to the character of Ellie originally and she was unhappy with how it changed. Personally though I loved her in this film and I always love her acting.
Brando making better actors out of this group.
Wheels of Courage by David Davis tells the story of the men who came back from the war and formed the worlds first basketball teams. My Dad was #10 for the Rolling Devils. He was one of the 1st wheelchair basketball players in the world.
I have that book! It’s so well researched! They should make a Netflix show about these men, so much to explore there!
