Hybrid is what I’d look at, especially as I’d like to be playing with my kids and their friends.

Can you do a review on the Oso Fury balls? They're supposedly very similar to CORE balls.

Thanks for the breakdown! I’m working with owners who have a volleyball facility and the flooring is a sport court, the problem we are having is finding a ball that has enough bounce on this type of surface. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This video is total BS. Except lead tape on the side does make the sweet spot bigger. Putting tape on the handle just makes you slower.

Being new to Pickelball I was given SLK Hybrid balls when I bought my paddles and had no idea that there were differences with PB balls. I recently discovered it through playing with someone who had X40s and noticed the HUGE differences, I was overshooting my serves and drives, wow did Iearn that quick, I lost two games as I could not adjust on the fly vs an opponent who was more experienced. Having said this, I would love to try the Official PB balls = Wilson i mean Franklin X40s - corrected

Which ball is most commonly used for pro events / tournaments? Is there an "official ball" or more widely used/accepted one by pros?

I am needing more control and stability. I will be setting mine up at the 5 and 7 0'clock positions on my Engage Pursuit.

Thank you for sharing this video! I didn't know there were different sizes, weights and number of holes in pickleball balls! If possible, I would love to try the DuraFast 40, the Core, or the Selkirk Competition balls. If those are not possible, any of the intermediate or even the beginner ball would do. Without knowing, I've been teaching and playing with he Franklin 40 balls since I learned to play close to 10 years ago. Thank you for all you do! If possible

X-40 is the best! Why? Because that's what most people are using, therefore what most people will be accustomed to. Even tournaments are largely using the X-40 nowadays. Don't be that guy showing up with some random ball that plays totally differently than what most people are accustomed to. Nobody will like you

Thanks for the info… Wilson looks like it would be worth a try even though in the video the golf model was putting with what looked like a 5 iron 😂. Probably why I don’t use Wilson golf balls.

I loved the comparisons between the 5 balls. Consistent technical assessment. I play the Franklin x40 but am not thrilled with the non consistent hole pattern. Would love to play the Wilson Tru 32 as you seem to highly recommend them. Also they will last longer in social play. Thank you!

As a pickleball player, we just want consistency.

I am a 78 yr old retired engineer just started playing this January. Have been paying at 5 or 6 courts, 3 gyms, and 1 tennis club in my area (Davenport iowa). Started ball experimenting with an assortment pack of 12 pickleballs from 6 different vendors. Since moving to a bigger gym now experimenting with best colors. No preference was found with the 6 vendors, but the new gym looks like they have opted for the Penn 26 because of the hot lava color. Send the neon red Wilson and I will donate to new gym.

I wanna give the Wilson Ball a Try. I have been using the Franklin and am looking at a change. I play with a pretty large group in Wisconsin and it would be cool to supply balls for the 8 courts during our Saturday games.

Late to the party here. I think this serve should be legal for me.............and only for me.

I would add the tape first to the 9 and 3. Will try that out and then possibly add to the handle for the whip factor
