Curious, do they continue the PvE/PvP sets like the Live game did? I know ToVL isn't a thing, so that "top-tier" PvE set doesn't exist...at least not through that Dungeon. Mixing PvE and PvP sets to optimize stats was the meta back then, only reason I ask. RIP Phoenix Throne

In Live I played a Squig Herder spec'd to kill healers and squishies...I ran solo probably 80% of the time, scouted for Destro WB, hit Order in the backlines and killed off healers, etc. Yeah, RvR is in the heart of the game mostly running in zergs....but not the only way to play the game by any stretch. Edit: I did run in comms with the rest of Destro so I could call targets, report on BO, etc NO idea how they've continued to balance RoR, I gave up when everything Destro was nerfed into oblivion and Order was buffed to absurd levels. Hopefully they've had a long re-think on that.

What about someone coming over from DDO? Never liked WoW, and if this is like it - no interest.

Thanks for the video bro I was wondering how is the server sentinels republic also I tried legends but it got really confusing at times and I didn’t like how I had to rely on buffs constantly it actually took someone to tell me to even know that is there any post cu servers that are not really grindy

EQOA is one of my favorite games to play of all time. It was me and two of my friends playing almost nightly. We'd play from 1130pm to 300am. Best time was as halflings. We mained on PPO. We were rich! Billions of Tunar!

Hardcore is very, very rarely the first way someone plays a game. It's something you do to show your mastery over a game, not really something you do to introduce yourself to a game. That's like trying to do a speed run your very first playthrough of a game, you need to know how systems work to be successful. I've been playing CoH since the first year it was live, and I've been on Homecoming since 2019, and I still have difficulty completing hardcore runs, which have (somewhat) codified rules posted here and there online, including specific story arcs you need to run at certain level caps, random rolling your character, all kinds of stuff. It's more like a pokemon Nuzlocke challenge than just WoW's Hardcore. A few notes on notoriety, you can adjust it at any time outside of a mission map by clicking the little chat bubble next to the chat entry bar. The boss options actually change the upper limit, rather than changing what spawns. If you have bosses off entirely, even if something would be a boss or elite boss, they spawn in as a lieutenant. If you allow bosses but not EBs, then any time a boss or EB is set to show up, they spawn as bosses. Lieutenants still spawn as LTs. Same if you enable EBs. LTs show up as LTs, bosses show as bosses, EBs show up as EBs, so it won't do anything like ALL boss spawns show up as EBs or anything like that. All that being said, I did enjoy your video, and I am ALWAYS here for more CoH content ^.^

City of heroes also has customized modules that you can create and set thier difficulty. You or others can play through these modules. The system is called architect entertainment or AE. It's a very unique system for an MMO and I suggest you check it out.

I beta tested this game :) I was an EQ original and played up to velious. For this game getting the network adapter was a pain. No one sold them and if they did they were always sold out. I lucked out and found 5 at a rural walmart😂 that internet connections were no where to be found :)

I had so much fun playing this game in Beta and release till they killed it. I almost feel like playing it again, but I don't want to ruin the memories chasing the nostalgia dragon...so, can't decide.

EQOA played a big part of my childhood as a 15 year old buying the lan adapter playing for hours anyone remember prophets of rage guild

Started at launch, migrated to GW2 like most but still play GW1, there's a feeling of vastness and emphasis on team combat/skill building that you don't find now a days. Tuning your team to the zone you're about to go into and getting -15%/30%/45%/60% Death Penalty adds dificulty to any zone along with hard mode. 20 year update coming next year!

this can be a fun game to play. But unfortunatley its full of toxic Meta Nerds that wont let or inv other players to WB or dungeons unless they play the class you have chosen the way they want you to. By all means check it out. Just be warned after T1 whole different vibe :)

I was playing a Killing Floor 2 map from Unreal Tournament . I said the music and the map were cool and I loved UT99 a long time ago. My friends scratched their heads. I have my original copy, so I installed and went through DM, Domination, CTF and Assault , showcasing the game. After seeing this , they remarked how Halo and other games tried to do this but Unreal Torunament just looks so polished in it's gameplay design. *I agreed* It's why Unreal Engine is so ubiquitous to this day
