Bare in mind that Paul Romero was not the only one who was responsible for making one of the most iconic music for H&M 3. (best game out of the whole bunch). Rob King and Steve Baca also contributed significantly to the game's music, and their work deserves recognition as well. Each of them brought their unique style to the game's soundtrack, which is part of why it has such a memorable and beloved musical score.
if people can leave the Heroes 3 nostalgia aside, this will do good, if not, it will have the h6 and h7 fate(not so bad as people say, not game of the year, but not as bad as people say they are)
Like 90% certain the reason Ubisoft cares about the franchise is "Might & Magic: Era of Chaos" and similar mobile game pivots. Very hyped for this developer being allowed to try a return-to-form for the franchise though:) Have like 0 negative things to say about what I've seen about this game yet, other than being slightly scared about their expectations for a multiplayer playerbase
12:38 Heroes 3: Horn of the Abyss mod expansion storyline takes place in Jadame continent. So I kinda afraid there would be a bit of a conflict when it comes to lore and stuff. The mod expansion also added two factions into the game, Cove and Factory. HoMM team also recognized Cove from HotA and it's a canon faction as it's based on M&M VIII lore. So I kinda wonder that they might want to add the predecessor of Cove into the game to retcon M&M VIII and HotA. I hope that the dev team also reach out to HotA team to make sure the story of the Heroes Olden Era doesn't conflict with HotA.
If they implement Anti-cheat, then it will most likely be that Easy Anti Cheat crap which never works and only causes headaches for legitimate players. Also, it might force a launcher onto us anyways, but with Epic rather than U-Play. Basically, the moment I see that a game contains EAC, I pretty much assume right away that the game will not work and thus I won't buy it. As for the composer, I also hope that they manage to get hold of Paul Romero. But if that fails then at last I hope they get Lind Erebros instead.
Did he mention it in the video or do you bring it to the table? It would be crap if the implement any form of anti cheat, so pray, that the game is nicht enough to skip this and big enough to give us HOMM3 players what we deserve 😊
I don't have much trust in ubisoft, but I really hope it's gonna be good, for the longest time I wished they'd just sell the rights to someone who'd actually care about it and make a proper new game

For me H5 would be the best one if it only had GOOD random map creator. I tried H6 and I found it underwhelming and have dropped it after a few days
