As someone who hasn't reached lvl 16 yet, this was really helpful. I had no clue what supplies did in T1, but noticed someone picking them up so figured I should do it as well.
First time playing this game, I played it as if I was playing WoW. But thanks to your videos and Space Marine 2 I managed to understand the essence of the game a lot more and appreciate Warhammer as an amazing franchise. Managed to reach level 18, Commited to RvR instead of questing, cleared all Tier 1 lair bosses and Sacellum and participating in the T2-4 stuff now. This is all thanks to your guidance. Keep up the good work and I hope I get to play with you sometime!
Hey! I didn't know we were in the same event yesterday! I saw myself @8:53 from yesterday's gathering ;) Mirkthorn here, it was super fun to play with you guys! Keep up the videos Java, they are really helpful for a guy like me who started 2 days ago ;)
Great video guides. Information on RoR mechanics is hard to find as it's scattered everywhere and depends greatly on game experience. Guides like this are invaluable to new players. It would be a great help to post these 2 videos on the RoR forums. We've had an influx of new players recently and these guides could help them out a lot.
As someone who used to play retail, this sounds very different from what I remember. Why would you go into a T4 zone right after T1? Do T2 and 3 no longer exist? From the capital siege mention at the end, it seems like the T4 tug of war system is gone? In the past, you had to lock the centre T4 zone and then the battle would move to the next one closer to the enemy capital. Then you had to lock that zone and so on, until you got to the capital zone. Are capital sieges just a repeating event that triggers every three days now?
@javajawa2157 thank you! That doesn't sound like a change for the better though. I can imagine the combined tiers aren't great for new players. At lvl 16 you're having fun in T1. Then you level up, go into the next zone and get blapped by lvl 40's over and over. Reducing the capital sieges to a dungeon with a three day lockout also seems like a loss. Capitals as a reward for a long tug of war campaign sounds more interesting and rewarding.

Tiers 2-4 are combined into one. Every 3 days the faction who captures the most keeps or forts gets to city siege.
