That would be 3% or 0.8" difference in tire diameter. Might be fine with the 4Matic, might not be. Personally, I'd prefer to be closer in diameter to make sure there are no issues with the 4Matic.

@@bucksgarage Just installed it this morning. Holy s**t! In casual driving, there's little difference other than throttle tip-in and general feel seem to be even smoother than stock, surprisingly. But, wow, stab the accelerator and hang on! Pulls like the world's quickest freight train. As the old ad phrase goes: "Try it. You'll like it." Or in my case, love it. Renntech's claimed numbers, which I now believe completely, are: Factory Claim Stock: 402HP and 443 ft-lbs Actual Tested Stock: 435HP and 508 ft-lbs Renntech's Upgrade: 540HP and 705 ft-lbs Not inexpensive, but worth every penny and more! I am one very happy camper. 😁👍

Hartmut Feyhl was 12 years with AMG before starting this company and by all accounts Renntech still has a semi-official working relationship with both AMG and Mercedes-Benz. I read many reviews and testimonials and they are almost universally good. I can understand anyone on a tight budget balking at the premium price, but hey, these are premium vehicles. Personally, while price always matters of course, I'm willing (within reason) to pay extra for proven quality and reliability. Now that I've tried it myself, I can vouch for the results. As to whether the cost-benefit equation makes sense, that's up to each individual. I'll be interested to see what product you end up choosing and how it works out!

I know! Unfortunately it needs motor mounts right now so it definitely doesn't need more power until I get that fixed.

Nope, no issues with call quality. It uses the OEM mic for the phone calls so sounds the same as when I was using the OEM BT setup.

I didn't have the compressor pigtail in all the way. Clicked it in the last bit and it worked fine.

Yep, you just use the maps app in your phone to input everything and it comes up on the screen automatically, no need to search with the wheel. Or you can just ask Siri to do it for you with the speech button on the steering wheel.

@@jordandoyle1995 One of the best upgrades I have done to the car. Really modernizes it and having it work with the OEM screen makes for a really clean install, functions and looks like it came from the factory. Been really happy with it!

Haven't had any issues with shifting. It does sit a small amount lower in the RPM at a given speed, but not enough to make much difference.

It will drive it straight, but you can't turn the wheel very far before the tires start rubbing on the fenders. If you have a straight shot and a really low ramp, you may be able to get it loaded without too much trouble.

Haha, I test drove a 350 5-6 years ago, really enjoyed it. When the 550 came available, I knew I had to jump on it!

Mine has been in good shape so far. One small issue with the compressor, but it was a free and easy fix.

A 2015 E550 would be a facelift version and it has the newer steering column. You are most likely going to have to change out the switch gear like I did to get the new wheel to work.

@@bucksgarage I see, even if both steering wheels have the same exact identical options? Really was hopping to use the same steering column switch because those things are freaking expensive 😂 So when searching on eBay or Google, do I need to be searching for 2015 E550 steering wheel column or something else? It’s interesting because when I search for 2015 Mercedes E550 steering wheel switch gear column, it shows 2010-2016 switch gear column and it looks exactly the same as the one I have now on my car.

@@Sashki81 yeah unfortunately your car will wig out if you don’t change the steering column. It won’t start and will throw a bunch of codes. I bought the wrong one the first time and the car was not happy at all. Yes, a switch gear from a 2015 E550 should work fine.

@@bucksgarage Thats awesome I'd love to do all my own maintenance just like it sounds you do . Excited to one day hear your update on everything. I got a 2013 E550 4 matic with 63k miles for $16.5k , had it 3 weeks and I love it . Oh man oh man I can't wait to get out there on dry roads in spring and summer , got to have fun with the turbo a bit around Christmas time but that last week ruined all of the fun to be had lol

I ran the antenna to the glove box area and stuffed it back behind before reinstalling the glove box. Works well.

If the pump is running fine but the rear is not going up then you likely have a leak or a blockage. I would check the valve block that the compressor runs into, make sure it is not leaking or blocked. If not that then you probably have a large leak in one of your struts.
