The November only got to drive it three weeks before I had to put it up for the winter but it’s the 96 with the LT4 with 25,000 original miles car is beautiful just like it came off the showroom floorand other videos that I’ve watched say that the LT four dinos it almost 370 and in some cases up to 390 quite a few videos out there saying that

I have a similar story on my 96 GTS I just bought a few months ago! It's a long story. The second owner of 20 years posted on VCA forum back in June asking for opinions on current value with a few fuzzy photos. A few people replied, but he was was pretty nonresponsive. Fastforward to this past November. I started casually looking around. I was really thinking i'd maybe find a RT/10. I found the guys business and left my phone number with one of his employees. The owner actually called me back! So I flew from Virginia to Seattle, WA about bought my GTS for $39k. Clean title, mostly stock, 42,000 miles. I took a loan out for $35k which was crazy, but I now own a B/W 96 GTS. You're not the only one!

Keep it clean, engine wise, and it's great it's high performance, but seafoam is a great start for these cars. Mine is only 40 thousand miles, but yeah, it's a 350, super engine

Just got my 94 from my mother for my 40th birthday. I was with her when she got it in 96. I have loved the car ever since. They are so comfortable and so fun and such a solid car. I know the C4's aren't looked at as the most sought after Corvette, but I do know that most people that drive them completely understand why they are such a great car. Looks like you've got yourself a good one as well. Enjoy!

Yes, you absolutely can ! Within the limitations of the car of course. It won't tow, or haul multiple passengers, it's not good in snow or unpaved roads, but in ordinary use it's really no more limiting than any other sports car, and better than most. I daily drove a C4 back in the 90s, and it was as reliable as any other American car of the time. Parts were reasonably priced and the aftermarket options nearly unlimited. These days I need to tow boats and bikes, material and people, so my daily is an F 150, and my second car is a Jaguar XKR. Beautiful car, but far more expensive to keep than a 'Vette.

No idea it was made in a V6 motor. Tempo was a very good car. Ford sold quite a few in its ten year run. Even actress Estelle Getty from The Golden girls own the 1988 two-door top of the line Ford Tempo. She had made a comment that it fit her needs. There are photographs of her at NBC studios in Burbank California well she's sitting outside next to her car presumably waiting to go back on camera.

Had one of those as my second car in highschool in the late 90s. Man I had a love hate relationship with it. When she drove normal she was great but when the timing chain jumped she sounded like a tank going down the road. I got real good a doing the timing by myself it did it so much. But all in all I gotta lotta good memories from that car.

I almost bought a Midget a while back but opted for a MGB because I wanted “more “ car. After rebuilding and modifying everything I could, I never loved it. I sold it for an Alfa and it is everything the B wasn’t plus. BUT, I just received a call from another car guy friend who offered me a 1972 Midget, for free. I am beyond excited. I see a vintage rally/hill climb build.

My stock 96 LT4 feels like a lot more than 330HP

I’m surprised it went 13.6 with just OTS reflash all stock with 2.0 ‘60. If launched hard cutting a 1.6-1.7 ‘60 it probably would have been a real low 13. That’s a decent gain from 14.0.

I love both of those cars, but I've been a Corvette fan boy from day 1, so Corvette, all day.

LT4 is a fantastic motor and really under appreciated.

My wife came home with a 96 collectors edition lt4 that's 2 parts grand sport. Someone in the past put the black grand sport rims on it.

Hello. Great Video. I'm building one from the frame up. I'm not sure if you knew or not, But people say there is a screw or bolt behind the gas pedal. that will make it go faster. Also a better carburetor. You look like you got a good one. If you were going that fast without adjusting that bolt. Yours is fast!

Any C4 w/a manual gearbox already sells at a premium, and that isn’t going to change. Any convertible C4 also sells at a premium; that isn’t going to change. Any “special edition” C4 (Indy pace car, __th anniversary edition, etc) sells at a premium; that isn’t going to change. Any ZR-1 C4 sells at a premium and THAT is never going to change. All of those have the potential to be collectible, but who really wants to make a garage queen out of a 30-40 year-old Corvette? People buy C4s in ANY trim because they’re good, cheap fun. Even a base trim coupe with the 4spd automatic.

i daily my 1987 C4, its been my most reliable car of all 3, my 2008 Wrangler has little thing go wrong like hoses and plastics due to age, my 2009 volvo c70 has hoses failing too but my Vette trucks thru all weather , i got it with 20k miles but a year later im at 27k miles, its a dream and mechanics arent scared to work on them if something goes wrong. i only had to rebuild the trans because it sat too long and i went to pushing it too hard. C4 is def worth the investment if under $10k and cared for

I’m actually looking at getting a 95 corvette with the automatic, and my main concern is rain and snow, my area does get snow but some years it’s not much and others it bad, so I’m debating on it still since I currently daily a 2019 Hyundai Sonata and just can’t get the enjoyment out of it that a corvette can

Been driving a 95 Audi a4, it's my first car and I still love my baby. I just recently fell in love with c4 and c5 vettes. I'm pretty damn broke right now but if I can manage it I'll get a C4 in the next few years. Prolly gon be the best day of my life. All I can say is hell yea

Very Cool car! I drove a tempo in high school my Jr. Year and then got an Iroc Z Camaro Sr. Year but I'll always have a placed saved in my heart for a tempo .... IF one were sold today just like this one how much do you think it would bring (if u dont mind me asking)
