600 flywheel would be great, that would figure to about 510whp. And really that's right where I'd like to be. This company claimed this to be a 650hp build, and *maybe* someone put stock injectors in this car between 2011 and now in previous ownership. I really have no idea what it will make. I truly think 500whp is possible between the cam, exhaust, and whatever head work it has with proper fueling and tune. That should put me at a solid 130mph 1/4.
I’m confused you’re saying it’s 520 but in this you say 600 flywheel would be about 510? But isn’t that where you’re at? Are you telling me you’re 520 to the crank?
520 to the crank is the math as it sits, correct. That's why I'm saying this thing needs proper injectors and a tune. There should be WAY more power coming out of this.
@@mattquerio ya most important part is the fuel pressure regulator is solid and have the old injectors cleaned and flow matched and your solid…. Was this on a Dyno Jet or Mustang Dyno ?
I definitely agree, but it's got the headers, rockers, a modded air box and twin 70mm, and unknown cam and head work. I'd think all that would be worth more than an extra 70hp. I could be wrong though for sure, but the injectors are definitely very close to maxed. They are up at 90% duty cycle or so, I really think it has more in it. My main concern is getting it on the dyno to make sure it's happy.
124 would be a 11.20 with a 1.7 60ft or so, I ran a 11.89 with a light 2.1 60ft. I did not spin, but I launched easy. I'm running a 200tw summer tire, 335/30R18s in the rear. I was more concerned with mph than ET as I was simply looking to estimate hp. I don't doubt with a hard launch it would do 11.60 on the current tires on a perfect launch though. A drag radial would change everything!
Yeah I ordered the 36 and with 10 cylinders they should support well more than the power I'm making. Stay tuned and subscribe if you want to see what happens on the dyno. I'll be doing some follow up dragy runs as well!
The 60 ft was slow, I took off easy.. feeling out the new tires. I was looking for mph, not ET. 60' is just traction, I don't think being a mile high has anything to do with it. Now if you trapped 124 a mile high, I'd be impressed.
Looking forward to seeing your next video 🇺🇸👍🏻 Glad I found your channel just subscribed
Thank you! I think the dyno should be interesting. Stay tuned!
LOL - love your plate. 'No Step on Snek!'
Hahahaha if that fit I'd have it!
decoy voice viewer?
Looking forward for the DYNO tune video. 600 HP would be awesome.

My 159 HP Tacoma is actually 120 due to elevation and 16 years of use.
I mean I can see that
I’m 553/575 wheel Dyno jet still on stock injectors and ok. Many hours on the tune to run and make max safe level power
Yeah it's surprising what they can support with strong fuel pressure!

124mph is solid for a NA gen 2.

What kind of rear tires do you have on? 124 qtr mile speed should be a 11:00 to 11:20 et.

@@mattquerio , a set of Nittos would make a difference. You definitely need a bigger set of injectors, 50 pounders for naturally aspirated .

Time for twin turbos
Lol dude I wish. We'll see someday.
No bets…time to cut your “loss” and just sell it to me. I mean…
🤣🤣
Your 60 ft. seems slow for that. I run a 1.8 60 ft. in my modded LS2 gto at a mile high.

@@mattquerio I understand. Traction can be an issue. I admire any car that can do 11 sec. quarter mile no boost or spray. Your car is one of them.
I dream of traction like yours, but I'm also admittedly scared to break things lol
I had a 1969 Grand Prix with 340 hp. Got rid of it. It would have killed me.
That's hilarious! Grandma's 1969 Olds 98 had 365hp! 😂
The Grand Prix of that era is an absolutely stunning car. I'm sure that 340hp was accompanied with a TON of torque.
