There is one thing I don't understand. You said that a single Tyranid prime would debuff the enemies leadership on top of the -1 from synapse. Where does this debuff come from? Or did I misunderstand something?

I love your videos ^^ I like to run 3 Venomthrophes with my melee warriors to give them stealth and I like the ability im invasion fleet to give me warriors lethal hits against vehicles so they have sustained and lethal hits and with a command ability, they can critical hit on 5+ In my opinion that's extremely strong. I'm highly interested in how you think about this specific combo

Where did you get the terrain from?

I always take warriors to be cheap synapse. Ranged warriors accompany hormagaunts and a hauraspex. That seems to be enough of a wave to take hold an objective. Venom cannons are swingy as hell but I've had them do work against Gravis marines and tzeench termies. They are just a cheap knock off a zoenthrope providing everyone with synapse. Thanks for these videos, they are really helpful. Unfortunately i don´t own any Warriors, i know, shamefull. I m waiting for a resculped that hopefully comes next year with the Shrikes. Also, why is there no mention of the Blades or whips in their profil? Kinda confusing. Question: After a succsessful charge, m i allowed to immidiately pile into a second unit that is right next to the one that got charged before i make any attacks?

Wish for a change to Venom Cannon and Barbed Strangler and for their bigger cousins heavy venom cannon and Stranglethorne cannon. give Venom Cannons Anti Vehicle/monster and Barbed Strangler anti infantry. this will make some of the less used units a bit better and give Nids some much needed anti Vehicle that is not just take Tyranofex and Exocrine. in this way ranged warriors might be viable, the same with ranged Carnifex.

Ranged warriors going to 4+ BS just made them pointless imo. For a unit designed to fight at range, their shooting is just meh. I use them to provide synapse in my backfield, that's it, if I use them at all. Better options even for that.

Hey Craig, I always appreciate your deep dives into the units. I don't think anyone would argue with you that the melee warriors are superior at this time! I watched a different streamer on the same subject and he helped to open my eyes on the ranged warriors. They're not a great unit but points wise comparable to a 10 man termagant squad. And for those points as a backfield screening unit with 36" in range and blast you have put some hurting on most of your opponents secondary scoring deep strikers while keeping a usable melee profile if needed where the termagants do not. In that use while possibly providing synapse to a long-range unit like an Exocrine or Tyrannofex the points cost can sometimes be justified! Though admittedly I have been happier taking termagants in most detachments. Anyway, I appreciate your videos!

Good vid with 2 criticisms. 1) the order of special rules and damage output. 2) You didn't specify the unit size for damage output, but I assume was 6 warriors.

Thanks for the vid. Im looking forward to 3x6 melee with prime in VO for the first time. I think they manage a good 8-10W vs tough stuff, where the mawlocs MW can soften them up for the kill.

I really missed the warriors with lethal/sustained 5+ in invasion. Thats were it gets bonkers😅. Allways have a unit in a ruin to countercharge whatever.

Really solid assessment of Warriors I think. The one buff that ranged Warriors really benefit from that I don’t think you mentioned is the new Lethals aura on Tyrants; ranged units can out out ridiculous volumes of fire and Lethals can force a lot of saves. It’s really great to see what are probably *the* Tyranid unit being pretty viable in-game. Warriors are so cool, and they have really yo-yo’d over the years.

My vangaurd sweet spot is 2 units of genestealers with BL and 2 units of warriors with primes. Wave after wave of speedy melee to extend the lifespan of the army
