    screamer killer needs twin-linked... compare it to a brutalis dreadnought which is only 15 more points and its pretty obvious the screamer-killer needs twin-linked.

    So gonna add small additions to this as I go because a lot of what I see here I like a ton (also THANK YOU for Norn suggestions, My bias would give it ap-3 on main melee and Emissary shooting get a bump up but S12 melee alone would make me very happy).
    Winged Tyranid Prime: AP-2 on melee, makes sense to me since melee warriors have ap-2.
    Lictor: 5+ Invul save with slight point increase to 65. If leapers have 6+ and Deathleaper+Neurolictor have 4+, Lictors should have 5+.
    Screamer Killer: Twin Linked on melee. With 4 big arms at once, this would help it's consistency on doing what it should.
    Von Ryan Leapers: Precision on melee. I think they need nothing else since the other lictors are more survivable and have higher str, ap and damage.

    would love anti infantry 4+ on the Stranglethorn cannons, in the lore they are used vs infantry, same with Barbed strangler.
    they release seedpods that strangle infantry.
    would also give Genestealers anti infantry, as mentioned they fight against Terminators and in the games they tear them to pieces, in older editions they also just ripped tanks apart but don't want them to be anti tanks.
    Don't really like the many D3 rolls, would rather have D6+6 instead or even D6+5

    Nice wishlist indeed, alas on in our derams. I fully agree with you. In addtion, I would love to be able to field carnifexes in packs of 3 (+ OOE), and may be also giving back their invul' save to Lictors.

    I really wish the Kept the Tyranid Primes and Neurothropes and made them unit leaders. And to get around the "1 box 1 unit" thing, do what they did with the same kind of kit in the Mega Nobs. They can be in units of 2 so 1 box can be a big mech and a 2man unit. So units of 2-3-4-6.

      I bought my warriors back in 9th, and so I built one as a Prime. Because I wanted a Prime and a unit of warriors, I bought an extra model off of Ebay... now I just have an extra warrior model

    One thing I would like to see is for both Tyrants and Tervigon to gain a D6 psychic flamer attack in addition to their standard ranged weapons to make up for Nids loosing their Smite spam from 9th.

    Genestealers need one thing: dev wounds without the broodlord. They are the og. They are the whole reason dev wounds are a thing. Rending claws were invented for them back in the day.

      Yessir, the 3rd edition rending claw. And, nids were the only ones with rending, then in 4th everyone started getting it. Now the mighty genestealers need a broodlord to get it. GW, has a long history of nerfing the nids.

    Also not a nid specific thing, but this would help us. I think battleshock shouldnt go away automatically. In the Battleshock phase any shocked units should have to pass a LD test to clear it. It would also globally make LD a more impactfull stat.

    A few changes I'd like to see: Warriors go up to at least strength 6, maybe 7 so that they can hit bigger stuff, and they aren't just slower Genestealers with synapse. Maybe if Synapse gave you +1 strength as some people have rumoured it could be, that would work.
    The Tyrannocyte currently can't fit a unit of 6 with a leader, it only fits 6 multi-wound models. If I ever wanted to bring 6 Warriors and a Prime in a T-cyte, I can't. Make it capacity of 21. And while we're at it, bring back the Tyranid Prime and make the Winged Prime a lone-op synapse unit, because it's so stupid having a guy with wings in a unit of guys without. Until they bring back Shrikes, the winged prime should only join Gargoyles.
    Give the Neurolictor synapse.
    Tervigon gains lone-op when within 3" of Termagant units.
    Split the datasheets between Hive Guard with Impaler Cannons and Hive Guard with Shockcannons. The shockcannons shouldn't have to suffer for GW's purging of indirect fire.
    This is just a re-imagining of Crusher Stampede:
    Carnifexes are now battleline. Detachment rule: the massive impact strat is now just free; any monster that completes a charge rolls 6d6 and every 4+ is a mortal wound. If a monster is this detachment is below starting strength, add 2" to their movement characteristic, if below half strength, add 4" (note: Carnifex units are below starting strength if they lose a wound, not after they lose a model).
    Synapse needs an overhaul. I play Vanguard or Assimilation Swarm, and if it wasn't for Tyranid Warriors, I would be in danger of not having any synapse. While writing, I was under the impression that you need Synapse in order to trigger Shadow in the Warp. It doesn't say that you do in the rule, it's a keyword in each datasheet's abilities. Every Synapse unit has the ability to trigger Shadow in the Warp, and every non-Synapse unit lacks the ability, except one, the Neurolictor. The Neurolictor is the only unit that can trigger Shadow in the Warp that doesn't have Synapse. This shows that it was probably intended to be a Synapse unit, because look at it, but somewhere during the writing of the codex, a compromise was made. I guess they thought that a lone-op with Synapse would be too powerful...
    While we're at it, make all Synapse units and the traditional vanguard units leadership 6+. Gretchin basically have a leadership of 7+ thanks to their runtherd. That's the same as a Lictor. If a Lictor is effectively as brave as a Grot, then something clearly has gone horribly wrong when you were writing the rules.

    The forgeworld models really need some love too. The bio-titan is not worth 810 points for a s20 melee with a d6+1 damage.

    I think these are pretty good changes. I would disagree on Deathleaper however, I think it should simply have a 12” aura on fear of the unseen.

    I find that Tyranids data sheet lacking AP and Damage is very disappointing. I try to play with +HitRoll, +WoundRoll just to stuck with enemy SV2+,3+. Seem only way to crush enemy tank is lucky with Tyranofex’s Rupture Cannon.

    Um, broodlord is already strength 6.....
    I don't expect them to make this many changes in the balance dataslate. I think they like to make one rule change that applies across the army to buff it. I think a simple rule of +1 Strength when in Synapse in simple and reduces the weakness of Tyranids against heavy armor, seems a lot more likely. I'd also love if Tyranid Prime could lead termagaunts or hormagaunts. Would be nice if Venomthropes didn't have the (not monster) qualifier and just said infantry units get -1 to hit. Are you going to do an ideal MFM for Tyranids (so you put out actual point costs for your proposed changes).

    Man you made Tyranids perfect. I couldn´t agree with the changes to the units i own more. It would be so awesome if they copy all your changes 1to1. The only thing i would change is Maleceptor Strike profile should be at least S10, thats it. And you gotta do a test game with your changes, hell i´d take the time out of my day to watch even 3. I´d love to see how they perform with it.
    The Swarmlord changes are spot on! Literally perfect. That´s how our big leader should at least be. Its makes only sense that his Synapse is the most powerful. I had the same idea with the Silent King. He gives +1 Ld in a 6 inch aura... Thats a 420pts model that is literally a god. Thats ridiculous! It should be 12inch and +2 period.
    The Deathleaper one is also very nice and thematic, very spicy. I wouldn´t wanna lose his other ability though, so maybe throw in the Synapse keyword, and then a points increase to 100 would be justified.
    Norn and Neurolictor changes are perfect as well. Norns dmg output is a joke for how much heat this thing catches every time you deploy it. And the Character keyword would help with certain cards a buch!
    The Biovore change is lovely. Makes no sense to get 3 mines in 1 kit and then have most of them at home maybe not even painted. Also its fun to litter the map with them, but maybe thats just me.
    I like the 9 Ripper base reverse too. Makes them more effective when it comes to lowering OC on the mid board models.
    T-Fex -1 dmg and then back to 200 points is the way it should be.

    Liked everything except for neurotyrant to be able to give zoanthropes +1 to hit and maybe +1 to wound would be to strong I think personally. But I agree neurotyrant should be able to join them

      @Dewoy1 idk about that if Carnifex drop a Lil sure but his full strength only available with a 250 tax . Some tanks are cheaper and out put more shoots/dmg with higher range and 2+ save . If he got back up on a 2+, yeah let bring him to a 175 to 200 . But I might over looking somethings but have to go clock back in

    Love these rules but I think its cope. I did the ssme thing for 8th or early 9th. My top fav unit is the tervigon, and ai still say it should spawn 10 gaunts on death. Otherwise these rules are great, I'd love to play with them.
