My premium place for Nids content! Thank you for keeping the hive mind going! I'll also take the time to ask, is a Vanguard Onslaught list coming soon? Thanks again!

Went a 2v2's tournament today and lost round one 46-54 with Invasion Fleet. Nid's movement is very difficult to do anything with. Round 3 and I'm still barely reaching the center with my guys. The average monster moving 8 inches is still pretty avoidable by other factions which do have a lot of movement such as Necrons or T'au, my two opponents. Hopefully GW does something next edition.

I’m looking forward to your take on the Pariah Nexus mission deck. How do you think that will impact Tyranid play?

I’ve had some good results with the swarm.
    Neurotyrant
    Swarm lord for extra CP
    Tervigon
    3x 20 Hormagaunts
    2x 20 Gaunts with devourers
    3x ripper swarms
    2x scream killers
    2x trygons
    Tyrant guard
Can play tactical objective or BELs and DTHs.
The harmagaunts are good move blockers.
Also I try to ensure that I only lose one squad of hormagaunts a phase s

I have been using a swarm invasion fleet list similar to yours. Lots of fun and you should try it.

This is similar to my list. I have 20 bats, 20 Hormagants, and 80 Termagants (split 50/50 pistols and devourers). Plus 22 nuerogants with a tyrant.
Terv, HT, Phage, Vemons, and 9 zoans, 2 rippers and biovore.
I agree, this style is very draining but very rewarding when effective. The more reps the better, there is more movement jank in endless swarm than is dreamt of in your philosophy.

Ooo id love to try this next tournaments, just putting down 60+ gaunts is sure to distress the most confident of enemies.

What are the thoughts on the new Secret Missions in the next season? Could the "table your opponent and get 20 primary points" make Unending Swarm a feels bad army?

What's that one rule you wished GW would change to help Assimilation Swarm?

Honestly if they didn't require an objective as a trigger it would be perfect. Like how invasion fleet requires models to be in synapse to use the stats. The difference would be it just requires a harvester unit

I m surprised not to see any Zoanthropes in your list. But i guess that´s kinda the plan, not kill anything, but score as much as possible before getting tabled. Also surpised to have seen a Psychophage in this list, i think he is a must now.
Another question, why don´t bring the other special weapons for the Termagants too? I think you get 1 of each for ever 10 models. Is it a physical thing, or do you prefer the twin linked that much?
Also, i have a question about Assimilation Swarm. The Stratagem _"Reclaim Biomass"_ says you have to use it before the last model is removed from play. So, does that mean you would kinda gamble away a CP on a Monster and hope it would die then?

Loved the vid. The explanation of how to play/guidance were very welcome!
I wish we could get similar "how thiese units function in this detachment" explanation/guide for all detachments :P

The exocrines do a good job taking out elite infantry, and you can just clog up heavier vehicles with your mass of bodies.
You want your termagants to be as mobile, but still being able to do pod shots, as much as possible, and losing the [Assault] keyword for the other special weapons is just not worth it. The profiles of the weapons are also not that spectacular, spinefists are better utilised.
No, it specifically says "when a unit is destroyed, but before the last model as been removed from play". Which would mean, when a unit has been fully slain, and you're removing the models from the board, but you haven't removed them all yet.

@@2h4d0wDK Ok good, i hoped that stratagem would work that way.
And about movement and assault. Why would having a non assault special weapon minimize your movement? You could still shoot with the other assault weapons.

Been using unending myself in games against friends trying to learn it, and i am so far 4-1 out of the 5 games.
But i am finding even with a win i have not enjoyed the game and just feel drained from it all.
