Silly question What your current PC build

The AI stuff doesn't really bother me when it's a solo indie dev trying to fill the gaps they would struggle to do on their own, especially if it's fully disclosed. Assuming that it isn't just slop built entirely out of AI content.

I looked for some good necromancy games a while back and I got the same 5 games recommended that were honestly kinda shit

Rimworld has a magic mod which allows your colonists to be a necromancer. Go for 'naked brutality' with a necromancer, it is good

I was really liking the starchild design until you made him majority red. I think majority blue would've looked much better, almost make him look like a yeti. Or at least more matching with the hair colour. Your roka design is super interesting and unique. The only thing i'll say is the roka helmet and chest piece don't quite look very functional. The lenox design is great and nothing I would change except for broader shoulders and upper body but I think thats more just a proportions error rather than design choice.

Guild Wars 2 Necro is good. Guild Wars 1 Necro is GOD tier. Its so powerful and if you die your minions become hostile and attack your team lmao

Play Heroes of Might and Magic 5. The music and the design of that game is fantastic, especially for the necromancers

Grim dawn is one of the best games of that type. I would say its much better than diablo 4.

Dominions 6 is a 4x game with very deep mechanics. There are several different nations in the game who's "dominion" (kind of like the amount of influence you have over a province) slowly kills the population of the province and turns them into undead hordes. There is also a whole branch of death magic where you can summons all kinds of undead creatures and even make immortal liches. Great game that is very much just a huge sandbox. It also has a very devoted multiplayer community if you don't like playing alone.

Tried to do necromancer in bg3 right after launch and having only 2 skeletons was a drag so I ended up going into evil paladin because that early on nobody knew where to get the tome of thay. I did use exclusively skeletons so I guess that was my problem

Over 500 hours in this game,if you love arpgs like diablo and youre a wh 40k fan then this is THE game for you.

You should try out wesnorth, it is a game that is a 100% free game, with no ads or microtransaction and just for that I think it’s deserved a honorably mention at minimum. It is a turn based strategy game. You can up to 17 campaigns, with most of them having about 10 or 20 scenarios, with one of them where you play the undeads. It’s definitely not the best game but ever, but it’s very good for it’s price (or lack their of) You can get the game on both steam and the apps store. I warn you though, if you play the mobile version, it will have the UI than the pc version. It definitely a PC game first. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I would recommend to play it on a tablet, if possible, rather than on a phone, but it’s not the worst, especially since there’s a undo movement button. Also, it’s not quite very good necromancer game, but I think it’s still deserved a mention at least.

A game I'm not seeing anyone talk about here is conan exiles , you can learn magic and slowly become a corrupted necromancer raising the dead and summoning demons

I'd like to suggest I of the Dragon. It's an old game where you play one of three dragons trying to free the land from evil. One of the dragon choices is a necromancer and at high levels you can reanimate ANY enemy.

Emari doesn't need a redesign. She just needs a backstory where she wanted to cosplay as her favorite legally distinct demon slayer. In her commitment to details, she accidentally made armor and a gun that is suitable for combat.

Last Epoch is fun but end game starts at lvl 100 and when you are doing that most builds are not good and you have already done all the content but easier.

Gaige from Borderlands 2, the Mechromancer, kinda fits the bill... if you're ok with your one and only minion having a time limit AAANNND a health bar😂. Yeah nvm she's a gun wielding warrior, that sometimes has a helper.

If you can somehow consider Pikmin as a necromancer game, then Dungeon Keeper should at least get 1 hr of your time. (You're a necromancer lord and have an infinite amount of time.) So go have a look.😂

Ohh yeah, Diablo 2 Necromancer will always be my favorite. Ahhh shoutout to Warframe for.... wasting years of my life😢. Maybe Warframe is the necromancer after all.

I can recommend Battle for Wesnoth, as a further Necromancer Game. You can play Undead as Faction and i think it will pass and i liked it very mutch, has also some Kampaigns as Undead Faction.
