Diesel Engine WON'T START! -Toro Lawnmower- Can we get it running???
A suivre!!!
@d’accord je comprend , j’ai vraiment hâte à tes prochaine vidéo .
Where did you get that cowling? I'm doing the same thing, building a '73 blizzard clone.
Dwight Henning out of Minnesota. Makes really good quality repop hoods for all makes and models. Keep me posted how your project goes!!!
Lmao. 😂🎉 my brother had a Johnson rampage 440 back in the mid 84-86 time frame in USA - mass it starters well and handled well spin on a dime to change direction 👍👍 see some cool sleds from my past. Skidoo tnt. Artic cat.
Yeah the Rampage was a really nice sled!! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! Take care!
hey matt been watching for allmost 3 years. love every vid. any plans on doin a vid on your 245 rv's? would love to see em.
Yes!!! I want to make a video on restoring one stock and I have another that is less complete that I will use snopro parts to make a “hybrid” 245 racer with! I have a repop 76 snopro hood and either a 1976 250rv engine OR early production 1976 444 LC prototype engine! (They used those engines in 76 SnoPro sleds!) Unfortunately I am super busy and not making as many videos as I would like… Thanks so much for your support and hopefully it won’t take 3 more years to get the rv videos made!!! Take care!
@@mattsws That would be cool havin a original one and a mod sled too. i currently own a rv chassis too. well a 77 340 sonic ts.dad has had it for over 20 years. in 2010 we had a hurricane. so sled was under water for a few days. ever since it lost spark. cdi most likeley, hard to get a polarfire ffs XD
@@mattsws that 444lc, was that the same as the everest 444. or is it a race engine?
My first was a 300 moto ski nuvik
Pretty much the same sled!
Thankbyou for this. Will help with my simplicity. Can't wait to get it going
Glad I could help!!!
Any Pantera?
I don’t remember seeing any…
Envoie met z’y du carburant derrière la cravate!! 😂
Oui messieur!!
Good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!!!
You could of linked the wiring diagram
You’re right. I will add it to the description if I can find it. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Good to see even though you made a mistake you admitted it .that happens. That's
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! Take care!!!
Dies it have a fuel filter, if not you should install one.
It does. I replaced it during that repair.
change to one notch hotter plugs. they will burn clean at low rpm.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!!!
I ask again, because you replied to me before.......have you yet run across a small sled using the 100cc McCulloch Kart engine yet? I worked on one 40 years ago and cannot remember the name. subscribed and liked!
I have never seen or heard of a factory sled that would have used a 100cc McCulloch kart engine. Maybe someone modified a sled with one to race. Sorry… Thanks for the sub!! Take care!
ik mcculloch made a sled. idk much about that specific sled tho.
I have a FP40 Do you have any suggestions for getting a front wheel drum to break loose? Mine was sitting for a year from the previous owner and now the front right wheel is seized up. Everything works now.... just the front wheel is giving me a hard time.
I suppose I would try rocking it back and forth with the transmission and see if it breaks loose. If it only sat for 1 years, it shouldn’t be that seized…If that doesn’t work, jack it up and take the wheel off and try to get the drum off. There isn’t a lot of room, but with a long bar, you can get in behind to pry it off. If its seized bad, its a hard task… Good luck!
I fixed it Took the wheel off, got a sledgehammer, and did a few love taps till the shoes popped off the drum. You will hear it when it does let go 😁 Now..... for my new U joints to show up 😬
Really glad to hear!!! Its a great little lift so its worth it to keep them alive!!! Keep me posted!
Where is that snowmobile show held, in Ormstown?
Yup, Ormstown, Quebec
@@mattsws I know where Ormstown is but where in Ormstown? Thanks.
At the fairgrounds
@@mattsws Thanks. I'll try and go next year.
One must ask, what in the world did that brother in law do to this gauge?
I’m afraid we might never know…..
I have a 1980 Blizzard 5500 that I would like to sell. Any suggestions where to list it? Does the VSCADK have a message board??
We have a fb page, but its not really used for buy/sell… I would recommend a fb group that is about vintage sled sales. Good luck!
@@mattsws Thanks for the advice!!
Great video, love to see the old sleds. My grandfather had a sno jet dealership back in the early 70's. My dad had a 72 340 thunder jet, a great sled. Like that you translate the French to English. Keep up the great videos.
Really glad you enjoyed! Wow 72 Thunder jet! Awesome sled!!! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! Take care!
Groovy
Yeah baby!
THANKS
No prob!
Those skiroules were nice. 👍
They really were. I enjoyed seeing them as well! Thanks for watching!!!
No Alouettes or Rupps?
There was supposed to be an Alouette racer but it couldn’t make it… No Rupps either for that matter. I guess Rupps weren’t too popular in our area because we don’t see them too often. Thanks for watching!
VERY RUDE YOU LOST ME WHEN YOU STARTED TALKING FRENCH WHEN CLEARLY THEY COULD SPEAK ENGLISH
It was an event in Quebec! What did you expect? Maybe next time you could ask a 6 year old to read you the captions so you can understand.
and not a single rollo flex canadian sled
There was one in the 2023 video. It was a mint condition “Wild One”. Really nice sled. I think it was there again this year, but I didn’t film it….
I just love the old snowmobile's. Just curious anybody out there, know how old does a sled have to be to be considered a vintage?
As strange as this may sound, here in Quebec, its anything over 25 years old. So 1999 is vintage now!!!
Some awesome iron there
Sure was!!!
My brother has an 80 blizzard 5500 with suspension and motor from a 96 mxz. It’s bad ass!!!
Thats awesome!!! Thanks for watching!!!
Nice video, man! Love how you go about things, very cool! Thanks. 🙂✌️
Yeah, that was my first video! Glad you enjoyed!!!!
I see that now, too funny! Anyway, I picked up a ‘69 Olympic 12/3 at an auction this summer. It looks complete minus the airbox, but nice original seat and windshield for $110 bucks. It has spark and the tank looks good. I’ve been wanting a bubble nose forever so I’m pretty happy to get this one! I grew up with a Evinrude Norseman and a ‘74 t’nt. Interesting, I don’t see a lot of Evinrudes at your shows. I would love to come across another OMC opposed engine one day! Thanks again Matt! 🙂✌️
That Olympique was a steal!!! Congrats!!! Have fun with it! Take care!
I had a ‘75 TNT back in the day that looked like that. I rolled it almost every time I rode it. Not my fault… it was the booze!! LOL. (it was a different time)
Ahahahah! Yeah, things have changed…. 1975 is my favorite year for skidoos. Every model looked great!
I still have about 50 brochures from the late 60s trough the 70s as well a Snow-Goer magazines . Exciting times with so many manufacturers. Now there are 4,soon to be 3.
Apparently there were over 100 manufacturers in 1970! Many only lasted 1-2 seasons… Now we will be down to 3 like you said. Crazy!
Thought you were gone,glad you’re back,thanks
Still here! Just not posting as much as I would like… Thanks for watching!!! Take care!
Oh man, the sound of a triple two stroke- I could smell that sweet exhaust. Beautiful! Good video. Fun to watch- thanx!👍🇺🇸❤️
Yeah they were really cool to see running. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!!!
Johnson Ramapge is the same as the Evinrude Bobcat.
I didn’t know that! Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!!!
This guy sucks
I have a 1976 440STX Skiroutte
That’s awesome!
Always looks like a fun show, I’ll have to try and get up there next summer
That would be great!!!!
no alouette's, maybe next year
Yeah, hopefully next year! Thanks for watching!
during the BLIZZARD of 1978 I was barely a teenager then, and the neighbors had 5 snow sleds (machines wutefver snowmobiles) had 2 brand new artic cat 440's if I remember right, one was hopped up I did not get to ride, but I got to ride the other one and it was a bit ''fast'' for the time lol hahahahaha I am glad I didn't end up with frostbite from that winter ;) but anyhow.... some cool sleds!! thats for sure... I likeded that RED RV sled thingie too... and the yellow camper trailers were pretty slick!!! :) some very cool machenery thanks for shareing ~!!!
Really glad you enjoyed! Thanks for sharing the memories!!! Take care!
some diminsion some place, another than here, anyhow, my kids and kidskids are all smiles rideing a WEE-SKII along with papa :) 2:56
Awesome!
Do you have to keep your face in the video so much??
I sure do!
@@mattsws I want to see the sleds, not you.
THAT was it RPM !!
Thanks for watching!!
i had a 1979 john deer spit fire best sled ever
Cool!!!
@@mattsws thanks love the old ones
All these cool sleds, but no Rupps no Moto Skis?
Yeah not too many this year. Don’t think I saw a Rupp and maybe 1-2 moto skis…. Maybe next year!
Thanks for the video Matt. I wish you would have shown the John Deere's
Glad you enjoyed! I’ll make a point of shooting some John Deere’s next year! Thanks for watching!!!
Super montage vidéo
Merci!!!
Oh man! You skipped over the rarest sleds ever! The two Skiroule '76 IFS race sleds. Probably less than 10 to 20 built. Designed by the great Gilles Villeneuve. Raced by Gilles and Jaques. Polaris built the '77 RXL when they saw the damage these sleds did in '76. A really good video though! Liked the Boa Ski's, never seen one like the one, with the side opening hood, that was started, and the other one's exhaust can be called "Smoke in Your Eyes".
Check out my 2022 show video. I talk about those IFS Skiroules there. Thanks for the info and taking the time to comment. Take care!!!
Agreed, my old man "skiroule Pete" has one. Very cool sled, I have to get around to making a video on it some time.
I would love to see that!
Why bringing bombardier in a snowmobile show is it about crap or snowmobile
What kind of sleds do you like???
@@mattsws pretty much all the brands yamaha polaris artic cat even the ones from 70’s like chaparal ,boaski massey ferguson so many I forgot.. but not bombardier we were never able to buy a bombardier and i go for a ride without issues plus it drives like a garbage can
I respect your opinion, even though I’m a Bombardier guy myself. At least there are hundreds of other vintage brands to choose from! Take care!
I had seen an orange Caribou at Lac Édouard in the early '70s.It had no skis and two narrow tracks that steered by spreading the left or right clutches 😂
I have seen a couple over the years, but never on the snow. I would be curious to see how they performed… Probably not very well, seeing as though no one kept making that design! Thanks for watching!!!
Looks like a great show. People really go all out with their displays.
They really do! And we have people that come from hundreds of kms away to exhibit their machines. It really is a great show!!!
