In ogni caso, guidate con prudenza sulla neve anche con pneumatici invernali. Se posso aiutarti con qualcos'altro, per favore fammi sapere.

@@MrSyvern1 I initially wanted a Swift AWD but wasn't available right away and that is how I got the Ignis. I'm happy I got the Ignis in the end, because it has bigger ground clearance and a better approach angle.

@tinyadventuresoffroad I was looking at Ignis first, but got a good deal on the Swift. I live on high ground in Norway, so 4x4 is a good way to not get in trouble in the winter. I keep testing to see if it will be stopped, but this far it has overcome all obstacles.

@jimmychen0123 I'm glad you like the video :) There are no visible fuel consumption differences after the modifications. The only consumption modification appears when I mount my off road wheels and even that is negligible - 5,8 L / 100 km instead of 5,5 L/100 km. If you have other questions feel free to ask.

@involutionnostrum le-am luat de la userul de Facebook "anvelope neamt" sunt f profi oamenii, cu asta se ocupă vând anvelope. Le-am avut și fără ca mașina să fie înălțată și nu atingeau deloc. Nu le recomand pentru mersul pe asfalt mult timp din 2 motive: 1. zgomotul făcut de crampoane este deranjant (eu m-am obișnuit și le folosesc doar când ies la off road); 2. Având în vedere că ai crampoanele așa pronunțate o sa mergi numai pe ele (până se vor toci evident) deci pe ploaie trebuie mers mai conservator. Altfel rezistă și la 120-130 km/h pe asfalt uscat. Pentru cârlig de tractare nu știu ce să-ți recomand, am văzut că există destule modele căutând așa pe net. Acum depinde ce vrei să tractezi, masina are 900kg nu cred că m-aș risca să tractez. Ceva mai greu de 500kg :)

Hello, yes I did. First remove the rubber stripe under the front bumper because you are going to rip it off anyway :) Second: get an aftermarket metallic skidplate, it will save your engine and gearbox. Third: lift it, I used aftermarket MP springs, taller & stiffer. Product codes here: front L39180-4, rear L39181-4. You can use other springs too (like MAD ones), but the MP springs lift the car the most (40 mm) and it's safe. And last put some decent AT or MT tyres on when you do off road, grip is the most important thing. I use the remoulded Italian MT tires Pneus Ovada Extreme 2, 175/65/15 on 15 inch steel rims. Use steel rims for off road not the alloy ones because those crack, the steel rims bend and can be rolled back in a specialized wheels shop. For any more questions I'm here.

@@jimmydk82 thank you! The only thing I got wrong was the fact that the central differential is not electronically controlled, it's a mechanical viscous coupling. The button on the dashboard just puts the electronics in a more aggressive setting to watch out for wheel slip.

Tak, zasługuje na podniesienie, dobrze radzi sobie w terenie, a z oponami AT będzie jeszcze lepiej. Ja osobiście nie spotkałem w Rumunii tak małych opon AT, może w Polsce uda się coś znaleźć.

Kalimera :) yes the springs are thicker and stiffer but ok for street use. I have recommended thrm to everyone. You will probably need a spacer for the rear shock absorbers or longer shock absorbers because of of the taller springs.

hi,how did you lift the car? i have now a500x but i will sel him next week and thinking about an ignis,vitara or cx3 and doesnt matter what it will be i wann lift it 3-5cm

Don't sell the Fiat 500x is basically a Jeep Renegade underneath, it's avery capable vehicle IMHO. I lifted the Ignis with Swedish springs brand: MP, product codes: front L39180-4, rear L39181-4. You will get 40 mm in front and 45 mm in the rear

Renegade TrailHawk doesn't have a low a low gear (a transfer case) it locks the gearbox in the first gear which is very short ;)

I've replaced the springs front & back with taller springs from MP, product codes: front - L39180-4 & rear - L39181-4

If they have the tires in 185/65R15 it would be perfect. malatesta kobra trac nt 185/65 r15 88 t I found these but they could not deliver to Greenland.

The tyre dealer has replied with some tyre options but unfortunately they don't ship to Greenland, but I can ask at the post office if they do. The tyres are Extreme tyres (copy of Maxxis Trepador) they are remoulded tyres made by a company in Italy, Pneus Ovada, model Extreme 2, size 175/65/R15

Anvelopele se comportă ok, au susținere laterală, doar ca trebuie ținut cont de faptul ca se merge pe crampoanele lor, deci pe o suprafață mică a anvelopelor și nu trebuiesc forțate. Am mers si cu 120-130 om/h pe autostradă dar cel mai bine se simt la 90-100 km/h. Fac și foarte mult zgomot pe asfalt, eu m-am obișnuit. Nu sunt anvelope de ținut pe mașina în permanență, eu le folosesc exclusiv la ieșirile in off road.

It has snow tyres, they can be successfully used as All Terrain tyres if you deflate them a little.
