      Hallo,

My friend THIS is adventure! Well done. I have some questions for you. Which winter tyres are you using and are they durable for this kind of roads? Everyone says that winter tyres are too soft in order to give traction on snow and ice. So how come you don't have a flat tyre? What about muddy roads? Do they find traction on mud?

    Finally got mine!
Slightly strange question, but what is your roof-top box? Looks ideal for me...

Many happy miles/kilometers in your new Ignis! :) My rooftop box is a cheap plastic box made in Italy, costed around 150 euros. I got from a Romanian online retailer.

@@tinyadventuresoffroad Already enjoying it! Just getting used to all the electronics... I have only ever had simple cars! My other vehicles are a 1971 Citroên Maserati, a '73 Datsun 240z and a '38 FIAT Topolino, but my daily driver has always been a 4WD, from a Landover Series II which I bought in '68, through various Landcruisers and Shoguns, to my Jimny which is still going on the farm.
Love your videos... looks like fun in Romania!

Wow 😳 impressive collection you got there! Don't be scared of the electronics, they are truly helping you in this car. Just keep in mind that the Grip Control feature is only available up to around 18mph. This is available with a button on the central console, it pushes power to the wheels with grip and brakes the ones without grip. And the Haldex type central differential is mechanical only, which is a good thing. The more heat it has, the more engaged it stays as opposed to the more expensive systems which disengage when are too hot. Overall is an honest reliable car, after all the punishment mine had it still is in tip top shape, doesn't rattle or anything. I wish you many happy miles with yours and if you ever come to Romania let me know, I'll show you around ;)

@@tinyadventuresoffroad Thanks so much! When I need grip, 15mph is more than I need... 5mph is probably enough!

bought myself a 2020 ignis all grip after watching your videos!! Thanks for great content! Btw, did you mount a sump guard? I would be a little scared to do so much off road :D

Thank you for the kind words 🙂 yes a sump guard is mandatory for off road. Congratulations many safe journeys! Cool video on what this little car can do! What did you use to lift your Ignis? Did you change the stock tires to something "beefier"? And any significant change in daily (on road) drive? (Sorry for bombarding with questions... but also have a 4x4 Ignis and really want to make it better offroad! :P )

    • @tinyadventuresoffroad

Thank you! I used MP springs to lift the car 40mm, there are other brands as well like Eibach, MAD but they lift the car less and some are more expensive. The ride has stiffened, good on road the car doesn't dive in the corners as much, off road the ride it's a little bumpy now but not dramatically. I have a set of mud terrain tyres on 15 inch steel Suzuki Baleno rims (Pneus Ovada Extreme 2, 175/65/R15). They don't affect the ride from a consumption POV. Feel free to ask me anything you want.

@@tinyadventuresoffroad Great! Will take a look at that combo springs/tires! Getting the car a little stiffer on the road is great! Keep up riding and posting! :)

@@tinyadventuresoffroad Ai schimbat și amortizoarele stock?

    • @tinyadventuresoffroad
      @tinyadventuresoffroad  Рік тому +1
