Thank you. I have used xbox1 thumbsticks in my every ps4 controller. Good to know I can also use them with Wii u controller. So much better than original ps4 thumbsticks. Much better precision and grip.

Quite glad you posted this. I've never bought the pro controller and have always used a third-party controller, but recently I've gotten back into sprucing up my Wii U, and I've been considering whether or not it would be worth it to seek out an official pro controller. And this mod would honestly make it worth the trouble because I also happen to have about 5 sets of Xbox One thumbsticks that I've put on multiple Xbox 360 controllers. I strongly prefer those sticks and would love to have them on a Wii U pro controller.

Wish this would’ve mentioned that when you take apart the piece that houses the sad card it’s actually glued with a black adhesive with some kind of aluminum that’s pressed to the as cartridge I tore through it and now don’t know ether it’s going to effect the functionality of the whole thing, thumbs down 👎 😑

Becareful removing the SD card reader on the side. Mine has some strong adhesive holding it to the plate that resulted in me breaking one of the connections to resolder. Use IPA 90% (min) to weaken it before prying the ready off to save yourself the extra work!
