Hitler's army found that out the hard way at Stalingrad, where the Russian women threw in their lot in battle beside their men. The Nazi army did eventually take Stalingrad, but those sniper women inflicted heavy losses on them. It was a serious blunder by Hitler; taking Stalingrad wasn't why the Nazi army was there, anyway.

The fist in the air freeze... maybe the most epic movie end shot, ever! The 2010 Oscars, the entire cast gets onstage to do a memorial for him, plus Ferris Bueller and home alone kid! All John Hughes movies must be watched! He did teen angst better than anyone! He was also involved in movies that he's not credited for such as animal House, Caddyshack, stripes, Vacation movies, blues brothers. He was a fast and prolific script writer. Other must watch are, pretty in pink, 16candles, home alone 1-2, uncle Buck, Plains trains and automobiles! Judd Nelson is in my opinion in this movie, the all time best protagonist/ antagonist character, ever written! Just watch all John Hughes movies, and u will get the entire 80s, whether kid movies, coming of age, or even adult with Uncle Buck and Planes trains and Automobiles! Pro tip, when they are smoking pot, Bender doesn't smoke. He gets them all high, on purpose! The goth girl....she doesn't smoke for personal reasons she told the director. She doesn't think her character would need to smoke pot. Also, there's no dialogue in the script....the actors addlibbed the whole scene 😮😮😮. To add more depth....This is why all John Hughes movies must be watched! Including movies he worked on but uncredited for such as vacation, caddyshack, stripes, animal house, blues brothers... Bender is the most singular at one time, protagonist and antagonist together, in one film! He gets them to talk , talk to each other , and be truthful about themselves! Each of their lunches represents their lives, Bender has none. Also, Bender gets them all to do something they normally wouldn't, smoke weed. He doesn't smoke! By the way, what they do during that scene is addlibbed! Carl is the fully grown up and self realized version of Bender! Red head guy is Anthony Michael Hall. He had the most successful and longest movie career. He started in Vacation, and was last seen in The Dark Knight! His fist pump at the end, addlibbed. The principal also in diehard! But this cast all did very good movies after this. Anthony did several John Hughes movies! This, vacation, weird science, pretty in pink, 16 candles, not sure if Hughes did Johnny B Goode. This vast got together about 10-15 years ago at the Oscars, and did a beautiful tribute to Hughes passing. Type in here, the cast Emilio esteves is the son of Martin Sheen, brother of Charlie! of breakfast club at the Oscars tribute to John Hughes. He did an excellent funny movie called Stakeout! Hughes was prolific. He could write entire scripts in a couple weeks! Bender guy did an excellent lawyer type movie, a funny TV show, and was in New Jack City!

The best of the best of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. Weirdly though, that sad scene where Donatello watches over aa coma stricken Raphael in the bathtub sounded more sexy with the music and April’s shoes walking combined. My brain wonders why that’s even combined.

I believe this is the only movie where Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the villain and tbh he was originally cast to the role of kyle reese but when he read the script he was more intrigued by the role of the Terminator and even James Cameron himself thought thst Arnold playing the good guy Kyle Reese was lame and so when he and Arnold met for lunch he had originally went to go pick a fight with Arnold so that he wouldn't wanna do the movie but when Arnold mentioned thst he liked and wanted to play the role of the Terminator James liked it and that's how that came to be And Lance Henriksen the guy who plays bishop in aliens he was gonna be the Terminator until Arnold Schwarzenegger u know got the part

Still my favorite Marvel movie and I think it’s the best. It’s more grounded and not in the fantastic. If they didn’t need him for the Avengers movies his story would be the ultimate hero saga. I really enjoyed your reaction to it. Seriously looked like you were having a good time watching it.

Amy Madigan does not get NEARLY enough recognition for her role as Annie in this movie.

First time I watched this movie I was either seven or eight and it scared the living crap out of me and I said I'm never watching this movie again. But when I got older I gave it a second chance. Guess what I love this movie plus I got to see it on the big screen.

Go with the sequels, you'll love them. This one set the stage for it all. Enjoy.

Movies actually have DEFCON backwards. DEFCON 1 is actually the highest. 1 means nuclear war is imminent. 5 is normal. 3 means mobilize and be ready to fight in 15 minutes. 3 was probably appropriate in this case. They don't know who is attacking them so get the birds in the air to defend against someone asap. It basically puts America in a protective bubble of air support.

I would give the 2nd MVP to the Russian Cosmonaut, with out him the second Armadillo wouldn't have gotten there & the shuttle wouldn't have left the astoried 😊 but that's just my thinking

A well respected woman, working as nurse & who basically would never even cross a red light while driving the car, hated a guy because once they had a legal issue with each other (not directly). The guy was running as major in a small italian town. One day, the husband of this woman wrote an article on a newspaper of that italian region, insulting the man & making fun of him. The major-to-be (that from now on we call A. S.) went to a police station & made a report against the author of the article, & won the trial. A couple of years later, A. S. got really sick. He had serious liver issues since many years, & the chirrosis entered the decompensation's stage. That woman, the wife of the man who was sued, speaking with her so called "friends" (who reported her words to others) began to say how much she wanted him dead, that he was "rotting as he deserve", enjoying the man's fate so much. When he died, she obviously wasn't invited at the funeral but she attended the Mass (in the Catholic Church the funerals are public: everyone can attend them just as any other Holy Mass. Usually the relatives sits in the first places & the others ones on the bottom of the Church). She commented with a friend "such a beautiful scene. He ruined my husband, but i saw him rotting & then i saw him dead", basically. Now, let's place in front of God two people: an actual murderer, & this woman. Did she killed A.S.? No, she didn't. She didn't lay a finger against him. Still, i am telling you she is a murderer as much as he or she who grab a knife & kill someone. Because everyone who hate to this point his fellow human being is a murderer. When i heard the comment of the Tara, that's what all of a sudden came to my mind. P. S. This woman is as much ugly inside as she is hot & beautiful outside. Do NEVER get an enemy like this b***h in your life, never. Get her as wife, but if you get a woman like her as a enemy, when or if she will have the possibiliry, she will destroy you. But God will judge this kind of women.

That scene between the Doctor and Raymond starting at 36:47 was really getting to me. I am 52 years old and have also dealt with the challenges for all my life. Those Psychiatrists sure know how to get on their high High horses when the Patient is at a vulnerable moment. I have had too many moments like that and yes, I have been told I'll never be capable of holding down a job, having a relationship, nor achieving residential independence. In other words, I will NEVER amount to anything according to them, as well as my family members. Wow, that's pretty motivating. Raymond has incredible talent I can only dream of. Raymond is a kind soul. Charlie was not a bad person at all, though he started off rude, aggressive, too impatient, and selfish in the beginning. He just did not have understanding of his brother Ray, until he learned more about him.
