Hey everyone!!! Don't forget to head over to Jen's channel after this for the second half of the Double Feature; Beetlejuice!!! ua-cam.com/video/B4nD8cTjBmU/v-deo.html
because I'm still in love with you..... I want to see you dance again..... because I'm still in love with you..... On this harvest moooooooooooooooooon🌝🌚🌙
They chose the perfect song for that moment, which I now realize is what you said lol. It’s just such an enchanting song by one of my favorite artists of all time. Made my heart happy to hear Neil Young when I first saw this movie at the theater.
Best preview intro ever! There is no way I'm not watching every minute of this!!!! Every minute, check! Love your reactions separate and together! Love the collaboration! Great content! Great reaction!!!
The story goes as John Krasinski has stated, he never was into horror movies, never thought of ever doing a horror movie. But when he got the script for AQP it was like 3 weeks after the birth of his and Emily Blunt’s second child. He was prepared to say no to the movie but then read it. And his main take away of the story was, yeah it was scary, but to him it was about: What would you do for your kids, like what lengths would you go to protect your children? So he signed on to direct, worked on the script with the two writers of the original script, while on a flight together Emily asked if she could read the script and afterwards said that she had to play the role, so John cast her. John actually performed as the monster himself. He threw on a motion capture suit and did all the performances of the monster.
Oh wow!!!! That’s amazing! I love the inside info about how this came about! I agree this movie was much less about a scary monster and much more about a deeply connected family and their sacrifices for one another! I loved it!
YOu girls really are the best. When you both jump scared at the bug in the room was so cute and precious. I can't even tell you. Love this reaction and I joined you gals with the tears all the way as the family tried to survive the Alien attacks. Keep it up. Great work.
Seeing this in the theatre was an amazing experience because you get to a point where everyone is DEAD silent and terrified to make any noise. Somebody dropped their phone and the ENTIRE auditorium freaked.
Hey Tara and Jen, "A Quite Place" ripped at my soul so many times. As a man I would crumble like a cookie if I had to go through what Emily Blunt had to go though. Stepping on the nail. I've done that before, but not while in labor and having a Xenomorph chasing me for his next dinner snack. Then to give birth without making a sound, is unimaginable. TAKE ME NOW. TAKE ME PLEASE. "A Quite Place" is the real deal for sure.
Right!!!! That whole scenario was SO INTENSE!!! All women in labour should remember that, while what they are doing is incredible difficult and painful, AT LEAST they didn’t just step on a nail, and they don’t have to do it silently because if they make a peep they will be torn in half by a giant creature….. haha maybe this movie will make real life labour seem a little easier 😂
John Krasinski's character sacrifice was to amazing it can't be put into words. EVen before that the quite discussion he had with his son and his wife about not blaming themselves or the sister for the death of their toddler. What emotional and gut wrenching dialogue. "You protect them, you be sure to protect them, no matter what." For sure this flick put John Krasinski on another level when it comes to movie making and concept development and execution.
The closeness and familiarity between you two is so precious and wonderful to see. I really enjoyed your reactions and watching this with you two. Such lovely and good women, with truly big and pure hearts. It's so refreshing to see someone like the two of you after so many vain and arrogant you-tubers and reactors, I am truly impressed and so glad I stumbled onto your channel. I'm not even gonna go on about all that I liked watching this with you cuz it would take forever, just wanna say, you did a really good job and I look forward to seeing more. Hopefully part 2, it's a really good sequel and gives some backstory as well.
Hi Howard!! Thank you for your kind comment!! I’m so glad you enjoyed watching with us!! Hopefully we will do some more reactions together soon, including a quiet place 2!
I was surprised at your reaction to the last few shots. I felt very triumphant when I watched that scene because they just gained a massive advantage over the monsters and are likely the only creature on earth to to kill one. I wanted to see them exterminate the local monster population and establish a safe zone, but you guys were like, "oh, no."
Such a rough scenario, It sucks they couldnt get to a hardware store, there is soundproof insulation and it kills all sound a lot. Its an interesting scenario to ask what would you do?
NO spoilers: Part 2 picks up the story right where it left off, while also giving some backstory, introduces a new character, and shifts "themes". And it does all this without feeling forced at all. In some ways, I like it even better, everything progresses the story and it's also amazing. Can't wait for your guys's reaction to it!
A great reaction, Tara and Jen. What a emotional rollercoaster, the Dad did what he had to, to save his children, it reminds me of the 2007 film 'Dead Silence' which has a slightly similar plot.
Got around to seeing this the other night, pretty intense and emotionally draining. Reminded me a bit of The Mist (2007), definitely check that out if you're feeling brave.

That compilation at the beginning was awesome! 🤣 You two are SO alike! I also love how you're whispering, Tara. Lol.
Hahah I couldn’t help but whisper!!!
I love that you girls are so loving , compassionate and empathetic. It suits your big happy spirits.
Aw thank you that’s so nice to hear :)

That nail was scarier than the monsters.

Both this and Beetlejuice are great movies for totally different reasons.

Thanks ladies wow loved your human reaction to this. So great.
Aw thanks!! We really enjoyed this one!!!
Seeing this at the theater was so surreal. Usually movies are extremely loud, but this one was so quiet...I was afraid to eat my popcorn.
Seeing this in the theatre was an amazing experience because you get to a point where everyone is DEAD silent and terrified to make any noise. Somebody dropped their phone and the ENTIRE auditorium freaked.
Hahah I totally get it!!! I didn’t want to move!! What a cool experience g to get must have been!!

I'll be honest, Beetlejuice is my favorite of the two.

Got around to seeing this the other night, pretty intense and emotionally draining. Reminded me a bit of The Mist (2007), definitely check that out if you're feeling brave.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will add it to my “watch if you’re ever feeling brave” list 😂

Me too!
I really liked this movie and the 2nd one
Part 2 is just as good
Great reaction good movie
Part II is a little more obvious and predictable, but is still a fun watch.
Which one of you 2 is the eldest?
We are VERY close in age but Jen is ever-so-slightly older :)
Jen is almost old enough to drink
and Tara hopes to get her drivers license next year!
@@TaraTunesIn
"ever so slightly older ?!??!"
I think you meant to say, "not quite as young."
