Come on... They could afford Hamill and Daniels. They could have gotten Carrie, Harrison, Jones or Oz. This is radio, the budget is nowhere as prohibitive as film or TV.

Yoda sounds like he's MAJORLY baked beyond belief. I mean baked to the point where he starts pitch shifting down, and occasionally does a weird Jamaican accent that he tries to hide.

The actor who tried to portray Yoda... Oof. That's worse than Brooklyn Han Solo or Bargain Basement Vader.

The voice acting and story of this is absolutely amazing....even though I've watched this like 5-6 times....I love the Empire End saga.

Arica in the comics is supposed to be Mara Jade an Empire assassin in disguise (She’s also Luke’s future wife in Legends and Expanded Universe).

I think this is a good star wars story in a vacuum, and the production quality is fantastic. However, this feels like a very lame and contrived backstory for Kyle. Feeling bad about killing a rebel, and then the "Empire killed my Dad" reveal does not feel like it lines up at all with the Kyle we first meet in Dark Forces. He's a merc that happened to get a gig from the rebellion to steal the plans and then joins the cause largely due to neccesity after primarily taking empire jobs. Him going from fresh cadet to hard core rebel BEFORE the first game is pretty lame.

Why is everyone saying this is good? This is shit compared to a New Hope radio drama 48:50 this exchange is just silly and wordy and drawn out!

I have every legends book almost 200. Id love to get something going to have all of them converted to audio dramas, im currently collecting all the comic books of legend n want to do the same for them. Idealing get an app or channel that can house the whole collection.

I made it an hour and 40 minutes without commenting. But Han Solo constantly audibly choking at that one part genuinely made me laugh. Also appreciate this video. I was genuinely surprised it wasn’t robot audio too. I’m so used to it. Glad there was visuals to go with it too (even if I treat these sort of thing mostly as audiobooks).

As much as I love Andor he is a watered down version of Kyle Katarn WITHOUT the badass Force Powers, all the things his show is praised for we literally had with Soldier For The Empire and much much more.
