SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY RECENT STAR WARS SLOP
Very nice :)
I love how Disney copied this story but just made it worse
1:45:59 is how disney should have done force healing
These are siiick! I love em! Thank you! I listen to these while I work!💜🖤
I lost count of how many times I've watched this. Still love every minute
They predicted cooked and yapping like that’s crazy
To me what makes this one more interesting is that it’s more focused on the empire itself and has no Jedi or sith/dark Jedi. In the begging of this instead of the rebellion like normal it focuses on the storm troopers instead which would have been a very interesting tone shift to see what it’s like to be them
The ending gives me chills wish Disney would actually try with Star Wars like how they used to 😪
The "Dark Empire" is the real true Sequel Trilogy.
This would have been a great movie...🎉
I'll take Nomi as a strong, likeable and relatable human character any day over Rei from the new movies.. So much so that I wish Nomi would get her own animated series or movie.
One of the deleted scenes was near the beginning with Luke and Cammy. What's the other one?
We love how instead of just copying and pasting this Disney did this but worse and no context.
RIP Nathan didn't really do anything wrong.
Wow! Amazing❤
This now regular listening for me ...loving it!!!! ❤❤
Gem
Never underestimate ewoks.
Damn this was fire
I love the heart-warming stories and memories everyone is posting pertinent to the radio drama series. I’m a millennial, born in 91’ and my dad introduced myself and my siblings to the Star Wars universe when we were young kids. I grew up watching the original trilogy over and over, on VHS tapes. Later on in the early 2000’s dad got us the radio drama on cassette tape for our Sony radio/cassette player in our room. We had A New Hope and Return of the Jedi but never got a hold of Empire radio drama. I’m filling in the last piece of my childhood right now. After listing to these damn near every night, dad would turn on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell, or at least the re-runs of Art Bell. I forget when George Snory took over 😂. Those were the days man! As a kid, obviously I wasn’t paying much attention geo-politically as I am now, but looking back the 90’s and early 2000s (minus The War in Terror…) just seemed so stable compared to now. Probably just rose-colored glasses on my part, but hey, Original Trilogy, Art Bell, Pokémon… That’s all a kid needed back then. Then smart phones and social media ruined reality permanently 🤮
The entire team responsible for this did a fantastic job.
Actor Paul Hecht (the voice of "Goldar" & "Rodak" in the U.S. version of "The Space Giants") is heard at the 5:10 mark of this video of the "Return of the Jedi" official radio drama.
Way beyond better than the three Starwars Disney movies that didn't follow the Dark Horse comics or the novels that I still enjoy reading to this very day!
All disney had to do was adapt Dark Forces and the Thawn trilogy and made billions and made millions of fans happy
Damn noice
Wait I'm a little confused ... Rogue squadron led by wedge are aboard those droids, and one of them is Zev Senesca? Didn't that dude die on Hoth?
Wish I knew about these shows when they came out but I did not listen to the radio as a kid. My loss.
As crazy as it seems, it's possible to like this and other continuities as well. May the Force be with You.
I bought Dark Forces Remastered months back and brought me some good nostalgia. And this is my second binge of listening to these audio dramas. I appreciate you uploading them for all of us to hear.
I really love how Leia is drawn in these comics, She looks god damn perfect.
I finally get to hear this story in full, YES!!! 🙏 THANK YOU!!!!
Full power Luke, not some whiny hermit beaten by a nobody. This is the Hero of my youth, the real Luke Skywalker.
what video is next in the series
Well done
1:28:47 1:49:15 Exar Kun went and fought a sith worm 🪱 while Ulic gets laied!!! 😅😅😅😅
They should remake this as a series of clay tablets
Crazy how that’s the same Vogga the Hutt from KOTOR II
Kyle, Jan...Morgan...Jerric, Dark Jedi... Imperial Remnant...THIS WAS....NO THIS IS STAR WARS AND ONE IF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND STORIES since I was a child. Thanks to my Mother for introducing me to this Galaxy Far Far away as a boy who was always sick due to asthma...and THIS Star Wars in the 90s was my get away in my imagination. Then I played on my first PC thanks to my Mother...DARK FORCES 2 JEDI KNIGHT. The graphics were wanky looking but the adventures I had...can't be replaced at all. I miss this version of STAR WARS and Disney will not take it away! This will always be canon to me as the Disney version in my heart and mind are "Legend Stories".
They Never got the chance to make the radio Drama of The Sith Wars. You would need to work with a team to create your own radio drama of the Sith Wars!!!
True Star Wars, I miss it.
The guy who plays Han Solo (Perry something I think) is absolutely excellent. These three radio programmes are excellent although I think Jedi lacks a little something compared to the first two. Thanks for uploading this. Cheers.
Disney had all these stories and could have adapted it like The Clone Wars or Rebels....so sad
The real reason and how he " Palpatine returned"
Love this! Kyle Katarn is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and someone I feel I related too.
this is nice touch
Damn they really made Mon Mothma unsympathetic in this story. Why would she even think that Kyle would turn on them after six years of working for the rebellion and dealing with the dark troopers? It's a year after the Emperor died as well. That's not really the best time to betray them.Does she have some personal grudge against him?
Coreskant is such a funny pronunciation lol
Kyle walks inside his home, then walks into his father's workshop. Man, that is NOT how I remember it going down as a kid lol I spent days wondering how his dad built a dam and mine between the kitchen and his workshop, AND that irrigation system a half mile above a pit haha.
